The video game industry is extremely technocentric. When you're this obessed about the latest and greatest you're not going to look back to appreciate the "classic". For example you might love the Godfather movie, and your son and his son can still appreciate this movie classic. But you can be a huge Halo 3 fanboy but your son and his son will not give a damn because by their time the graphics and gameplay will be total crap.

Uncharted is like a how to demo on the correct use of the PS3 textures. Everything is streamed to save memory and use of Cell to handle effects was brilliant.
Complaining about the cost of PC gaming is like whining about the price of a H2 Hummer. In other words you're either missing the point don't appreciate the advantages. CoD 3 was a step back and with CoD 4 being so good I don't see what Treyarch can possibly add to this franchise other than more of the same. Talk about milking the cow, IWD should stick to developing their own games instead of handing their baby off for a quick buck.

Without a doubt this game is the best deathmatch game on the console. Warhawk might be better at CTF and "objectives" gameplay but when it comes to frag fest UT 3 is the new king.
Unfortunately the PC style browser confuse a lot of technoidiot console users. They tend to join games with 250 ping then complain about lag...
On the console UT3's gameplay is fresh and new. On the PC UT3 is a stale throw back to the early FPS days. It is very, VERY hard for a FPS to impress PC gamers with their sky high standards.
Giving you a new system would probably be a big help. I sent mine in twice and in both cases I got the same piece of crap back. The damn thing is a ticking time bomb and it amazes me why MS have yet to finally put an end to the RROD issue.

Thats a lie. The PS3 fan is extremely quite, its impossible to hear it while gaming and it only spin up after hours of use for a quick cooling brust then it'll quite a down again.

Console MMO without keyboard=mass lag and confusion. Picture this, you walk into town and there's 20-30 peeps talking on their mic in the market. You go LD and lag out. After you come back you'll run into several people shouting at the top of their lungs because without the keyboard there isn't any zonewide chat feature.
Its not gonna work unless the console's MMO isn't so massive. I'm seeing something like Dungeon Runner might be possible but then again it's not really a MMO. ...
IF this game is coming to the PS3 or not makes zero difference. By the time the jump is made in mid or late 2008 I'm pretty sure nobody will care. There will be bigger fish to fry by then.

Its crapy. Cheap and crappy like all of MS hardware. The image and sound output totally stinks. Plus watching HDDVD movies on your 360 is just another way to RROD your console. If my 360 is going to RROD then I want it to RROD while playing Halo 3, not because I was watching Transformer.
I ended up buying a real HDDVD player and I'm much happier with that than the 360's player. Its a total waste of money.
