Thats an absurd claim. The NG series do have fans but its not the type of game that drive the masses to the streets. That claim to fame belong to games more accessable franchises like like Halo and God of War. I think the quite a few NG noobs will never get beyond the mid game due to frustrations. This game is hard, even easy mode on Sigma is hard.

My god the animations SUCK!! This game is like someone making HD version of Mortal Kombat 2. Why bother? This kind of gameplay was great a decade ago, it isn't great now. It just look so terribly dated.
It doesn't matter how many players they sell, the price of these Hidef movies are insane. $30 for BD Die Hard and $30 for HDDVDTransformer?? Are you kidding me? If both camps want faster adoption of their standards then they need to cut the price of the movies first then worry the god damn players later.

This game looks like Fallout but as we all know it isn't Fallout, it's being made by Bethesda!! These guys don't produce finely honed rail RPGs like Bioware or Interplay, they're more of the create an open world then let the community made content fix all the flaws type of dev.
