This gen of consoles was by in large, a major let down. I was promised PC quality graphics and 1080p display. What a bunch of lies. Other than budget tittles there isn't a single AAA game out there can run at true 1080p. Most games are upscaled 640p which is barely high def. I'm tired of this gap between console and PC graphics. Forget about this 3D crap, whoever can deliver Killzone 2 or Uncharted quality graphics at fully native 1080p and 60fps first will get my money.
Why can't console games be this cheap? Oh yeah thats right, thats because they're priced to rape.

It took me a few months to wear down my PS3 to the point where I had the yellow light of death. Thankfully my new PS3 slim is still good.

The missing hook in the PSN+ is the lack of new PSN exclusive tittles. There's really no point in buying a bunch of low budget games at a discount and the games that you do get for free will probably be crap like Calling All Cars or Pain.
It doesn't make a lick of sense to me. Why would Steam to come to the PSN and how the hell would that work? The PSN have it's own achievements and log on and the same with Steam. How would the two co-exist in the same space and what would Valve and the PSN possibly have to gain in this partnership.
So it'll be done in 2014?
I do not like the fact I do not own my content at all. So in essence you're only renting these games and DLCs.
There is a difference between a Bluray player and a Bluray set box. The PS 3 is still one of the best Bluray box around, its fast as hell and has build in wifi with the best firmware support in the industry. Thats the truth.

Getting back to the era that started the series is great and all, but I would rather have Rome 2. The problem with the Shogun series is you can be Japanese and thats it.

Going after people with a pose in broad daylight makes you a hitman not an assassin. Games like this is at it's best when it's you vs the world, where stealth and skill will carry the day. When you're running around town with a bunch of bros and cutting through guards like a buzz saw the game just isn't the same.

The problem with the Ghost Recon franchise is I often get a feeling that I'm playing a game of a soldier playing a game. It's too scifi and clinical like a F22 steath fighter shooting down a MIG from a hundred mile away without being seen. Shooters are at their best when it's tense and gritty.

The problem is Kinetic. It looks lame and boring as hell. Its so lame and boring that it literally sucked the air from the rest of the conference.
Agreed. The benefits of wireless N can be debated, the value of having a Bluray player can not.
But I would rather have wireless N if given a choice, this is something that should be included in all PS3 slim. I'm not sure why Sony decided to go without this feature.
