A lot of conflicting stories on this subject. Please some blogger tell me which one is actually better because everyone is apparently too dumb to come up with their own conclusions on this subject being that theirs already well over a few dozen articles like this.
The monsters look amazing and gruesome.
Really? Have you even tried it? It's working great for me (as long as you get a computer thats capable of running it; got mine for only $900). It really bugs me when people trash something that they have never used, and just go by what this and that person says.
I don't think I even have that many applications on my computer.
Why has no one mentioned Fallout 3?
Looks like the movie industry profit isn't the only thing that video games is taking a bite out of.
ahh breakfast you beat me to it.
I love how the submitter added, "PS3 the better version" to get more hits.
Well some company has to step out of the box sooner-or-later, either that or we would be paying for slow(currently high-speed) internet forever. The prices will no doubt go down. The fact that they are only making this immediately available for the Wisconsin and Minnesota area shows that they are seeing if the anyone wants "super high speed" it or not.
Remedy is from Finland. Alan Wake just takes place in the USA. Go take your anti-american crap somewhere else.

It's about time, I can't wait to see some gameplay in this game. A game coming from Remedy has to be good, and they're not rushin it. If they feel it's not ready they won't release it right away.

Why are you even allowed in the gamer zone?
Well at least we're finally seeing some advancements in the internet industry in the USA. Can't wait until the price gets lower though.
Make sure you have .NET 2.0 installed in order to run it. http://www.microsoft.com/do...
I thought Windows 7 was going to be the last OS from MS or am I missing something?
Does Dead Rising ring a bell. You know, the xbox 360 game that rendered hundreds of zombies at the same time doing their own individual things. The game even rendered killable zombies outside of loadtimes. Or maybe even a launch title like Kameo that had hundereds of creatures on the screen at once. Or let's go to the Gears of War tech demo at GDC '08 with hundreds of locusts running across the map at once. Or what about Halo 3, the game everyone critisized for it's lack of graphical prowess,...
I am a little sick of people hailing this game as the best game ever made because it is in no way the best game ever. There are blatant flaws in it that just make the game annoying to play. I stopped playing Halo 3 regularly after about 3 months after getting it, I stopped playing COD4 regularly about 1 month after getting it. I still occasionally play both but now I'm more into the single player games.
I remember quoting the developers that there was no lead developing platform for this game.
And Microsoft were working on a online virtual world before Sony and then put it on the backburner, but you don't see them braggin about it.
Wow, everyone needs to open their eyes and realize that they are not the only console owner in the world. Just because something has not happened to you does not mean that it won't happen to anyone else. Just because you have never experienced a hurricane first hand doesn't mean that it's the same with everyone else (figure of speach on that last one of course).
