No idiot. If you watch the other gameplay videos you can see that the zombies have their own reaction times(it mostly depends on how close you are and how much noise you are makig). Some zombies will see you right away and jump or attack you some are a little bit slower hence variation and more realism.

They did the same thing with Ace Combat 6 and Beautiful Katamari a long time ago.

Dead Rising: Action Horror, Third Person View, Slow moving zombies, everything is a weapon, stuck in a mall, singleplayer, has a story.
Left 4 Dead: FPS Horror, First Person View, Fast zombies, guns and bombs are the only weapons, stuck in a city, multiplayer, doesn't have a story.
Other than the fact that there are zombies in both games, I really don't see too many similarities.
P.S. Watching a scary game is a lot different than playing a scary g...

I can't believe the amount of mechanics and this game has and the game still looks really good and holds a good frame rate.
Wow, that molotov c*%ktail (apparently c*%k is a blocked word) fire looks so realistic in the first video. A stark contrast to what it looked like in a video like 8 months ago. Graphics look much better.
