I was actually thinking that MS announced Scorpio so early just to slowdown Sony's momentum. As you mentioned, announcing Scorpio will probably have zero impact on Xbox One sales because they are already poor (and they are poor, trust me).
BTW, we've just recieved PSVR devkit and I must say I'm quite impressed by the hardware. We have only simple tech demo but even though screen is 'just' Full HD, RGB layout makes all the difference. You have to look for the matri...

I know what you're talking about. I'm playing on controllers for over 20 years. My friend recently let me play COD multi on PC and I said 'Sure, I can play if you connect the controller for me'. He laughed and said that I won't stand a chance with K&M players. Guess what? Most of the rounds ended with me being in top three. It's all about skills IMO.
They are saying the screen door effect is visible. Well, we have a PSVR devkit here and to be honest SE is almost non existant. It's way worse on Vive and Rift.
