My thumbsticks aren't peeling off and my battery life is around 5-6 hours. If you're getting two hours then either your battery is on the way out or you're lying. And that's a launch controller.

Day one patch maybe? A lot of developers send unfinished builds, which are often TCR ready, for certification. Meanwhile, they work on day one patch for release day.

HDR has bigger impact than 4k IMO.
As you said, most people don't really care about technical side of things. Hence, people won't care if it's true 4k system or not. It'll be 4k system for them. For 400 bucks.
