I'm happy with consoles right now. This gen still has some strength behind it. what we need are more good, NEW IPs. New ideas are much more important than newer hardware.
I've only played Mass Effect on PC, but I'm sure it's still an awesome game on consoles.

Don't forget that they have classic mode, which doesn't have the cover system, sprint, etc. As a longtime SOCOM fan, I see myself playing the new version just to try it, but pretty much stickign exclusively to the Classic SOCOM mode. IEhter way, this is really making me want to go pick up a copy of SOCOM II and play for a while today.
Who gives a shit? It's all about gameplay and PREFERENCE. I like KZ3's multiplayer better than Crysis 2's, but I'm not running around like this is some bullshit dick measuring contest and acting like graphics are the only thing that matters. I agree to an extent, but it's not like they're fixing game breaking issues. Mostly just tweaks and things that obviously slipped past them in testing. It's just a shame that this patch is causing network problems because I never had any before i applied it. I'd agree with you if the game shipped totally broken/not finished, though.
Amnesia is a beacon of hope! Support those developers! I pirated the game before it came out and loved it and then as soon as I saw it for sale on Steam, I bought it. I highly recommend that game (along with the Penumbra series, made by the same developers) to anyone who is looking for a seriously scary game. But I agree with this story in the sense that most 'horror' games just turn into regular shooters eventually.
Guerilla is aware of the network issues the patch caused and you'd be fooling yourself to think that they aren't working on a fix and will release it ASAP. Saying the patch didn't fix anything is ridiculous. I've been kicked out of a few ames here and there and hit with an error code, and yea, it's a little annoying, but it's not like the game is unplayable. I'm sure it will be fixed soone nough and everyone can stop acting like the world is ending over some god...
