Meh. The problem with each system having an "answer" to another systems unique game is that unique games such as Heavy Rain will rarely come out. I'd rather a company just try something new rather than "answer" to Heavy Rain.
Normally, I would say stop whining, but Edge really does suck. Anytime a big title comes out they consistently review WAY below average.
This article is retarded. They aren't even comparing the same screens for both systems. That being said, I couldn't tell a difference that was big enough for me to care.
It's only stealing if you get caught ^_^ =p
It's a video game console. This isn't a life-changing choice or anything serious in the grand scale of things. This article is stupid.
This is quite a surprise to me.
I'm not even going to read this article. I hate when Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo say stuff like this. I really hate Greenberg, though. He talks too much.
I apologize, I forgot to add The Last Guardian onto the list for a game to look forward to for PS3. I'm looking forward to Alan Wake as a new game, but as I said, it comes out before E3.
I actually think PS3's show at E3 this year may disappoint. I believe the same about Microsoft's as well. The fact of the matter is that we already know so much about all the big hitters coming out this year (heck, some will be released before E3. See Heavy Rain, God of War 3, FF13, Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake.) That means, in my eyes, that most of E3 will consist of sequels (Resistance 2, Infamous 2, Killzone 3, Fable 3 Maybe a new GTA, maybe Gears of War 3) The only way that E3...
td_rules, another thing. Maybe you didn't notice in my post how I Was specifically talking about MY views on his games. I never passed anything off as fact, I specifically expressed my PERSONAL view on the man and his games. So I don't see why you bother to dispute my personal opinion.
I actually tried editing my comment to say with the exception of Black and White, but Black and White still didn't do anythign amazing it was just a good game, but n4g wouldn't let me edit it. So no, I didn't enter gaming this gen, and no I'm not ignorant. But maybe you are for not being ok with people having a different opinion then you :).
I can't stand this guy. He comes off as such a media whore to me and he hasn't made any games that have really WOW'd me to justify how much attention he gets.
I'm sure the differences still aren't much to write home about despite what this article says.
We wouldn't be anywhere different. As much as people love to ignore this fact, Gears did NOT invent the third person cover system. I remember doing this on Kill.Switch on PS2 and there could have even been something before that. What it did was be the first commercial success (that I can remember) that implemented a well-working cover system. But I don't feel as though it has been innovative in any way. It's just a good game, and good games don't HAVE to be revolutionary.
Awesome review. I'll be picking this up once I finally have some money to spend!
So many people like this game and it's critically acclaimed. YOU may think it's overrated, but there's no way you can pass it off as a fact. This is the problem with gaming journalism, people think that they're right on matters where it's impossible to be right or wrong. Like they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
Good analysis, it annoys me how he over-annunciates the "T" in Kratos though :p.
Pretty good score. I'm not a fan of decimal scoring systems. I feel like everything should be in .5 increments, but oh well, a good score none the less.
I've watched it like 10 times already. skdjfhksadjfhskdfj I cant wait!!!
Seriously, I'm so sick of seeing this have something to say every other day.
