At least I've only been without PSN for a week. I've still been able to play single player games and stream movies, etc. When my 360 red ringed all I could do was pack it up and wait a few weeks for microsoft to fix it...only for it to red ring again 4 months of getting fixed. Even if Sony were to compensate you for a week's worth of membership (maybe a couple more days depending on how long the outage lasts,) the amount would be so minimal that they may as well not even bother giving it to you. Yea, and on top of that there were countless graphical glitches...like I was trying to execute a target and it would go into slow motion and follow the bullet and then the bullet would randomly hang in the air and move all over the screen, and then the game told me i missed the target, even though according to the games aiming system, I was guaranteed a kill. Weird bugs like that all over the place. Had potential to be a good game, but the bugs really held it back.
I had this for PC and it was seriously the buggiest game I have played in a LONG time. IT had potential to be cool but the bugs totally ruin it. Hopefully the PS3 version is better but I wouldn't pay full price for it. Just a piece of advice for those trying to save money.
