well, i used to be positive i would never see another star wars film in my life time, and im not even a quarter century old. after disney bought lucasfilms i basically had to eat my words. so ruling out that battlefront 3 won't get made doesn't seem as valid a statement anymore. my prediction, lucasarts or disney higher ups now in charge of lucasarts might see the potential profit in making battlefront 3 next gen and decide to make it. if not next gen, then who knows.
coming from an xbox owner i'd say its the other way around. most likely Microsoft will release their new console before sony does. sony seems to have a lot more exclusive games coming out for the ps3 than the xbox360 in 2013. also the xbox360 will be 8 years old in 2013 so i think its much more likely the older console will get and update.
all i have to say is that there is most definitely a very distinct difference between a critique and an opinion.

well it depends on the context of system seller. new consoles offering new shiny titles are definitely system sellers, exclusive ip's are system sellers to gamers who care about exclusive ip's. games to the masses however usually aren't system sellers, the casual or less knowledgeable gamers such as people who only buy consoles to play sports titles or games like call of duty usually get a console based on price and what console more of their friends are on.

ah i still have SO MANY games to catch up on, hope i can get to most of them before the next xbox comes out.
and maybe a dedicated gaming channel one day that shows behind the scenes of developers studios, the process and work. lets plays, interviews, trailers, round tables and retro gaming documentaries, lets plays and other gaming related productions.

agreed George Lucas threw Star Wars away with the new trilogy and clone wars tv show. the clone wars tv show easily could have been an adult series for Star Wars. but seeing how disney is handling marvel, star wars might be in better hands with disney. who knows...
