The only recent EA game I have purchased over the years is Battlefield 1. All their other games has not been that good lately.
I don't really see how Nintendo revolutionize the open-world design. Not saying that BOTW is bad, but it still has many issues with the game overall. Main story is rather a bit weak.

I really hope it goes back to the style of Valkyria Chronicles. Hell, I would love to see a direct sequel to it. That game was amazing. I didn't even bother trying Valkyria Revolution since it was vastly different.

Watched an entire playthrough of this because I was unsure if it was good or not. Thank god I didn't spend money on it. The entire game just feels very incomplete. Honestly, I thought they already owned them back then. So this news doesn't really surprise me in the way of, omg Respawn is Screwed and blah blah blah. They got screwed over when EA decided to put Titanfall 2 between Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty. Now its just a slow painful death for Respawn at this point. Sooner or later everyone will leave Respawn because EA wants to control them and own their IP. Big mistake for being bought out by them in my opinion.

Well, I mean technically is it a 9th generation console when the PS4 and Xbox One are 8th generation so its not surprising that it is doing well. Plus the WiiU was utter garbage and hardly sold any units. The Switch actually looks like a nice tech device while the WiiU looked like a toy addon for the Wii.
They learned alot from the mistakes they did with the WiiU (well most of them) so that's good.But they are still somewhat doing their own thing in Nintendo's pers...
I feel that this game didn't have an identity to start with. Just felt like a carbon copy of a bunch of other 3D-platformers that no one remembers with generic character design and generic level design.

That's not it though. The game should equally have good PC controls. Yes a gamepad would be recommended but not everyone has a gamepad. They should at least try to make decent PC controls but it seems here that they didn't even bother trying.

I'm sorry, but I can already see this having extremely bombard negative reviews on steam simply for being a bad port. No mouse controls????? I never heard of that before.
Glad it came to PC as it was a fantastic game. But it really does need a few more patches, there's been maybe one or two patches since released and that's it. It sucks for those who may have a bigger issue with running the game.
If they don't like it, then do play it, don't buy it, don't watch it. Pretend it doesn't even exist. No one cares for your butthurt feelings over something so silly.
I dunno. If I'm being honest, I feel that the game awards lately has been underwhelming. They are not bad mind you, but he needs to stop hyping it up like it's e3 or Play-station Experience level.
