Do some of you forget that is was Easter weekend. All these people at Sony as well as whoever is helping them have families. A lot of people might of had time off or went on vacation who knows. If you are a plus member as I am, I don't think I deserve anything. Especially if you paid for the yearly sub in which you got 15 months for the price of 12. I'm loving this game and will give it no lower than an 8. Of course I haven't had lot of time on the multiplayer but I've been playing the custom missions and its a blast. Can't wait for some co-op action.
Just curious, if you go out and buy the PS3 version does it come with Extraction or do you have to buy the collectors edition.
I hope they put in voice commands for the single player. That feature was one that really made Socom stand out from other military shooters. I thought it worked pretty well with the PS2 and it should translate well to PS3. Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything on this feature. It was also great that you could hide in bushes or tall grass and not be seen unlike some others....cough..Ghost Recon...cough. It was also nice that if you used a silenced weapon your presence wouldn't be given away ...
I really hope that add or have voice commands in the game. That was one feature I really liked in the old games. It was nothing better to tell your squad to get down and they would be virtually invisible in the tall grass. It's funny how people on here are saying how the PS3 version is not selling well. Well, when I got online last night(at Lvl 1) and finished my first match, I was ranked in the mid 600,000's. Maybe the leaderboard is wrong..right....And those numbers are just for the copies sold with people who play online. 7 million sold. Lets see, by some of your logic, 360 version probably sold 6 mill while the rest was split between PS3 and PC. Sounds about right. What you guys think? PS3 owners don't buy ...

I like the new look as well as well as the bigger font. Everything is easier to read especially your friends list. No matter how this update turned out, somebody would have complained about something. Sony can't please everybody. Personally, I like it. PSN is free and any updates to it is a thumbs UP in my book.
I am thinking about getting a second PS3 and I was wondering if I could use my PSN id with the new slim. Do I have to deactivate my current PS3 to redownload my arcade games. Any info would be helpful.
This is strange because in the GameInformer issue there was no mention of this what so ever. Not saying anything bad about Edge but they are always a little harsher on the PS3. I don't know...I'm not a programmer so I have no clue what to think. I've also noticed that developers with strong PC programming roots always struggle with PS3. Oh well, I think they'll have things ironed out by launch...People on this thread act like they are releasing the game as it is now next month or something......
So the gameplay is smooth, maybe a little too smooth because he could snipe while running, yet the game is laggy. Ooook..Not saying there is no lag in the game because it's probably there but sniping and lag don't go together..Just I thought. Maybe I didn't read it right. Hopefully things get ironed out before launch.

Picked up Bourne and C&C for 360...Overlord and OO7(w/Tshirt) for PS3. I really wanted to get Pure for PS3 but they didn't have it.
As a dual owner, I find this news interesting. I could of swore that PS3 owners don't buy games but only watch Bluray movies. I remember last week there was an article about game sales (can't remember which one) but as usual the fanboys on here were saying that PS3 owners only watch movies. I wonder where they are now. Sometimes I think people on this site just like to spread false info just to get others all fired up. Glad to see articles like this because it puts actual numbers in your face...
I was thinking the same thing. Sometimes as a PS3 owner I can get a little upset at the other owners out there in the world. Some of you guys are never satisfied and are always complaining about something. People complain about dlc then complain about not getting dlc because it's exclusive to 360. People complained about not getting a collectors edition(which most aren't worth the extra $$) and would have paid an extra $20 or $30 for the game yet you can sit here and get mad for having to pay...
I found it funny when he said the original was riddled with problems. 15 shots to kill an enemy? I don't know what game he was playing because I don't remember that and I've played through the game 4 times. Excellent game and I can't wait for the sequel.
Yes and that includes major banks and other big institutions..oh and the Pentagon. They have never been hacked.
