They did, kind of. If you beat someone 2/3 tiers up in rank they'll lose ~100 points. If they quit the game they only lose 100 points, so it makes little difference and people don't think twice about dropping a game. The player that doesn't quit gets nothing though. You should at the very least be awarded the win if your opponent bails mid game. I've had nights where I've won a hell of a lot more fights than I've lost, but still ended the session ranked down. I remember thinking that 500gb would be more than enough for the whole gen. I upgraded to 2tb a couple of years ago and find myself having to delete games now to make room. Games are getting ridiculously big. 99gb for the base game is just insane. How do I tell my wife she's not going to see me for the next 6 months?!?!

My father always used to say "things were different back in my day" and I always thought he was just being a grumpy old man. In my thirties now, I'm beginning to turn into that grumpy old man too, and can't help but roll my eyes at something I see online, practically every day at this stage. There's so much stupidity in the world right now. Everyone seems to be offended by everything, and I tend to like the world less and less as time goes by.
My first night with GTA 3 is still my favourite gaming memory of all time. That game was just mind blowing when it first released.
Let's not get ridiculous here. None of the saints row games come anywhere near any of the GTA games. IV is probably my least favourite of all the 3d entries in the series, but I'd still pick it over any of the saints row games.
Dead Space 1 & 2 are up there with the best games of last gen, and they're still extremely enjoyable to play through today. The first game is 10 years old and it's still coming up in stories every now and again here so it's obviously still relevant to a lot of people.

Someone got it for me last Christmas, even after I said under absolutely no circumstances is anyone to get me this game. I was a huge Star Wars fan (until TLJ took a big steaming dump on the whole franchise) so I went through the campaign. It's not worth getting it just for single player anyway.
