Mmm... The playground... Horse is a pain in the ass.
Why are you so angry? The article clearly states this is nothing more than a rumor. No reason to be pissed at Sony yet.
"lulz..wot are you replying too? clearly you didnt read the article..FACE PALM!
EPIC FAIL"
You do realize this article has NOTHING to do with gaming, right? The article is massive and not once are any of these words mentioned.
- Sony
- Nintendo
- Xbox
- Xbox360
- Playstation
- Wii
- Gaming
- Game
- Gamers

How is it unfair? They get the money for the original sale. It's not unfair at all.
The article said they couldn't confirm this, so as of right now it's all rumor and speculation.
However, if this happens to be true, I'm going to be more than a little angered at Sony.
The article is simply saying that the executives and developers really aren't as charismatic as Kevin Butler is. Which makes them seem really dull and boring by comparison.
People need to learn how the hell to read before using a computer. Damn.
Yeah; the comments below make sense. Honestly, I've not looked much into S4 yet, so I don't know if they've mentioned anything about it yet. But I really hope they're planning on bringing back the original SOCOM 1 & 2 maps (I couldn't care less about the SOCOM 3 maps, except for maybe Harvester).
Anyone can take apart their PS3 and make it run [I had to do it to backup my Harddrive onto my Slim when my 60 gig bricked (it was intense)].
Unless there's actual video evidence of this, then I'm calling shenanigans.
It says nothing about the new models bricking. It just says that design has been changed so if it bricks, it will no longer produce a ring, but a red dot in the center instead.
This article really needs to be retitled.
Your point is irrelevant. I'm not saying the Slim is perfect, hell, I don't even know if it's fixed any of the issues the old model had (like the Disc drive going mental and eating the discs when moved). The point is, (to my knowledge) there have been NO cases of the new XBOX models bricking.
The Fat PS3's have a decent chance of bricking as well (Mine has). Does that mean that because the PS3 slim is prone to the same problems? Not at all.
I&...
I don't think you read the article. It says nothing about cases of failure, it just says that it will no longer display a ring in case of hardware failure, but a single light instead.
The same argument can be used against Sony. The fat models have a line for the power light [Green = On; Yellow = Error; Red = Idle]. With the slim model, it's no longer a line, it's a dot.
Since my 60GB died late last year, I've had to go buy a Slim. If my Slim d...
Maybe I didn't read this article correctly, so someone correct me if I'm wrong.
This article says nothing about there being a bunch of cases of hardware failure, it just says that if hardware failure were to occur, the signal has changed from a ring, to dots. Nowhere does it make any mention of such cases occurring.
I disagree with Microsoft's practices as much as the next guy, but I'm not going to start writing comments that are nothing but l...
You're wrong. I have never heard of another console, DVD player, blu-ray player, or anything that uses a disc drive scratching discs when moved.
@Clizzz
Well; seeing as this is the new model. About a day.
Home is entertaining and all, but I really wish they could just use one version of home for the entire world. I don't care what version it is. I just wish that all three regions had one version of home.
I'm tired of missing out on cool stuff that's only available for Europe or Asia, and I'm sure both of those regions are tired of missing a bunch of stuff that's only for North America.
I don't really think that showing a new console redesign and Natal (which has already been shown on many occasions) alone will steal the show, just how Sony isn't going to steal the show with another PS3 model & Move.
Hopefully Microsoft has a few interesting things up their sleeve, I'm kind of interested to see what they've got.
Sony's conference should be pretty impressive as well. Seeing as they've released so much stuff before ...
I've not even watched the video, because I hate HHG, but the comments here are absolutely hilarious.
All you ever see 360 users (fanboys in particular) is 'We have Halo and Gears [And Natal]'.
Now this article has turned all the 360 users against eachother. Most of what I've seen so far is people flaming Halo and saying Gears is awesome; or people flaming Gears and saying Halo is awesome.
Both series are on the same system, an...
Dude, stop being such a fanboy. I'm not too fond of Microsoft myself, but do you see me bashing a game that's exclusive to their system every chance I get? Grow the hell up, and be a true gamer.
It's a decision by Bungie to not include the feature. You're not going to play the game, so why worry about it.
Anyway, from what I've seen, the game actually looks pretty decent compared to the others.
Maybe I'm just delusional, but aren't like... 95% of games on the Wii exclusive?
"We couldn't be more proud of the consoles we are building now, as well as the new Xbox 360. This console is the culmination of years of continuous innovation in design, testing and learning. Today we are confident we are shipping a high quality product."
I'm not one to be a fanboy but I am going to call this quote out on it's bullshit. There is no way they spent years innovating, testing and learning. If they had, then the issue with the disc scratching...
