I never said you couldn't. I was just pointing out that there is plenty of content available.

There's plenty of available content. Any game that is available on Linux is playable right now, and games exclusive to Windows/Mac can be streamed from your PC to the Steam Machine.

Only 300 of these were made by Valve as prototype hardware running SteamOS for beta testers.

Besides, since it's essentially nothing more than a machine that runs SteamOS in a console environment, any company is allowed to produce and distribute hardware as long as Valve determines that the hardware is up to snuff.

You're obviously doing it wrong... I'm using a 3 year old school laptop which can still play most games without a problem...

The only people who complain about the need to constantly upgrade have obviously never used a PC for gaming before.

Go for it, no one is stopping you. But I'm flattered that you ask for my permission beforehand.

And for the record, my point with that comment was that Dead Space is not survival horror, and it's tiring to see people presenting it as such.

Just because a game is mildly scary, or full of cheap jump scares, doesn't make it survival horror.

You see, there's more to the Survival Horror genre than it being scary, just like there...

I'm so tired of hearing about Dead Space. The series is ass at best.

@Reverent

How? The name change has nothing to do with DayZ. Had you bothered reading the article you would see that.

Bring in the disagrees for stating facts.

What are you talking about?

The number of people that are signed into Steam fluctuates between 3 Million and 6 Million depending on the time of day. That number is currently at 5.3 Million and most people in the United States are either asleep or at work.

Seriously, Steam is hardly a niche market, and pretending that it is is ridiculous.

Yeah I noticed the SDK got an update last night as well.

4795d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Indeed, friend.

Also, the number of people on here who acting as though binary is some mythical language of the gods is hilarious.

Besides, 'technically' it's not even the binary that matters here. It's most likely to be converted into base-10 or base-16 before being paired up with an ASCII chart anyway.

Yeah, I downloaded it and translated it. It says: "our new world order begins"

It is implied that they would be good, otherwise this list is completely pointless, and the list could potentially be endless. Also, most of these don't even qualify as presidential candidates.

This article is just stupid.

Nathan Drake would be a good president? He is a thief by profession, what the hell are they talking about?

4819d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Are any of the Uncharted games truly canon anyway? The events in each game are pretty well contained.

The only real consistency between them are the character's relationships with one another (Though, I'm still not entirely certain how Flynn knew Drake in #2).

Incorrect.

What a nonsensical bullshit article this is... Every single one of these 'arguments' or 'points' of his are ridiculous at best.

"5. The Price"
Comparing the price of a high-end PC to current generation consoles and concluding that gaming on PC is more expensive is flat out wrong. Most mid-range hardware that is more than capable of producing graphics on par with consoles.

Sure, building a rig from scratch is probably more cos...

What the hell? Half of these aren't even horror games. If you're going to put something on this list just because it has zombies, why not go all out and throw Minecraft or Terraria in there as well?

4833d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Really? You mean that saying stupid shit like this isn't being a smug ass:

"wow really, if a program isn't being used and it takes up memory just loading the icon for it.....never mind you i can see you're upset by this!"

Seriously dude, you're completely ignorant of anything related to how computers operate. Pretending that a key/value mapping is somehow taking up immense amounts of RAM is nothing short of fucking stupid.

4833d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

You cannot be serious right now... A 64x64x32 icon would be 128kb in RAM, which is 0.0048% of the ram available on the system.

The only time those constraints would be in place is when a game is running. Besides, when the game is running only visible icons are loaded (which is why it takes so long to display them). Your hypothesis is further disproven by the fact that installed games have icons.

Next time, try not to be a smug ass about something you've o...

Who cares if a majority of PS3 users aren't using Folding? There's obviously still people who are using it, so it's obviously still doing something.

And claiming that it's taking up space is nonsense. It's not even installed on your console by default, and is only 125MB after the install. Besides, like you said, most people weren't using it, so that invalidates your point even more.
