to understand about this. PS3 won't have any downloadable content and 360 will. Money talks and Microsoft paid for the content. All the fanboys get their panties in a bunch.

very impressive. I picked it up a couple of days ago. I wasn't epecting much bc it is a PC port. I was wrong though, I would put this up with Gears for best graphics on 360.

ever wants to be on par with Live they will have to charge for it. PSN is free for "consumers" now, but who do you think the price is offset on?.......the developers. If they want their games to be online they end up paying in one way or another.
The only unified servers are for 1st party Sony games. So third parties are pretty much on their own when it comes to online.
This is the reason you see so many more games available for online play for XBOX ...
I have to wonder if these stories are true though, with 7 system replacements and so on. I could tell you honestly if I was having red ring problems with my system, I would be pissed if it happened multiple times.
One should always buy an extended warranty in my opinion when dealing with any expensive next gen hardware. It will save you a lot of headaches in the long run.
The entire retail game available for download. Maybe this will be the first of a new trend and Xbox live will become a viable format for full retail games. It is definately a plus for publishers as discs and packaging are expensive. XBOX live could save companies a lot of money in the long run through digital distribution.

How much HD texture streaming do you plan on doing with 256 megs of video ram? And if what you are saying is so true, how come all PC games arent being released on Blu ray? The PC games are far more advanced than console games. I guess the PC market is going to have to shut down bc they haven't incorporated Bluray for games yet. Get over yourself Desperado. Would you even care about Blu ray if the drive didn't come in PS3? The simple fact is that if Blu ray wasn't incorporated in the PS3 no PS3 fanboy would even give it a second thought.
If Blu ray wasn't in PS3, how many PS3 fans would have ran out and bought a Blu ray dvd player. I'm sure that the percentage would be low if not zero.
If there was an HD-DVD drive in PS3 then you would say that was better....and even on top of all that if a regular DVD drive was ...
bother comparing the two. EA releases the same Madden every year. The only thing updated is the team roster. Go buy All-pro 2K8 instead.
