I remember reading all this stuff back then about the PS2; its too hard to develop for, it has no games etc. It's funny how it parallels the FUD today. I thought the Dreamcast would become the console of choice for all the same reasons Xbox fanboys claim now. I learned my lesson then not to count Sony out.

...to the almighty dollar. Capcom should be loyal to their shareholders and thats it. They don't owe anybody else anything. They make great games at a great expense of money, time and effort. If you like the game, you buy it, get hours of entertainment and Capcom makes a profit. They don't owe you anything more, the transaction is over and both sides are happy. This just seems to be one of those games that everyone is unsure about so getting a demo out is a perfect way to ease peoples concerns. They must have confidence in the product.
I never paid for LIVE and was always a single player (other than the odd online at friends etc.), I just never got into it. Chating and all that was never appealing to me ethier. PSN being free is what allowed me to give on-line more of a try. Now I'm playing online all the time. I'm sure for many those services offered through Live are invaluable, I do however expect that Sony will answer with many of the same (similar) features in HOME.

If it took you an average of 1 min. to find and use/try each of the 600,000 guns; that would alone take 10000 hours or 417 days of gameplay to do. Its gotta be customizing.

The drive size changes is just cost and value balance. The upgrade to the 80G was probably because of savings with the use software emulation for BC, among other cost savings that come with manufacturing time. That way they could keep the price at $599 for the 80G. I think they should have just stuck with the 60G at $499. The rumor is the 80G is dropping to $499 at some point. If you've ever been in a corporate boardroom, its easy to understand things being handled so poorly.
They should do a SE (Black)Spider-Man PS3. The Spider-Man 3 font is practically the same as the PS3 font, so it would fit right in.

They are currently looking for a writer and Rami hasn't heard wether they want him to direct, but he will at least have a producer role.
