Maybe I'm just getting old but I just dont see the appeal of the DS. Obviously I'm the minority and it really bugs me that I dont get it. What am I not seeing? When I saw it launch I literally laughed and thought "Nintendo just doesn't get it" but it looks as if the jokes on me. I dont think the 360 was plauged with bad press during its launch but it doesnt matter, you're just proving my point. I never said anything against the 360. My point was that a console's launch year (using the PS2 as an example) could have a lot of problems but things can turn around. I was just saying I wouldnt count Sony out, I made that mistake once.

The PS2 is the best selling console in history. It's first year was plagued by bad press, lack of games, and was difficult to develop for. Not to mention it had hardware issues. What did you learn from that?
