Couldn't agree more. I have no idea why sales is always used as an argument to why one console is better than the other. The only thing that is proven by sales is that less people enjoy the quality games Sony produces for PS3 owners.

You could list down tons of features Live has that PSN doesn't and it won't change the fact that the main reason people buy Live is because their friends have it. Do you actually pay the $60 to use the awesome features of Live that PSN doesn't?

Quite the contrary I would say. Microsoft actually showed more games than Sony/Nintendo. The problem is, they were the usual and only trailers were shown and less gameplay unlike Sony which focused on in depth demoing which is why they weren't able to show that many games.
Unless by games you mean surprises which was lacking on all 3 conferences. Hence Ubisoft's Watch Dogs was the best 'surprise' since it never leaked before E3. Had it leaked, E3 would have be...

It's not more than enough - just enough. I'd rather see 4GB (or even 8 which is unlikely). 2GB in 2014+ even for a console sounds awful.

Aside from the usual Halo/Gears/Fable/Splinter Cell and TONS of Kinect, nothing really new. MS has almost completely turned the Xbox to a casual machine. Bing, Xbox Music, Nike+? Sheesh
It's mostly due to the fact that people stayed up late (Eastern people stayed up to 3am to wait for servers) and got a big fat FU from Blizzard when they couldn't log in to the game until about an hour and a half later.
