It's good to see developers realizing what the PS3 can do and take advantage of it. Tired of seeing lazy devs *cough* Bethesda.
If either game tries to be like the other game, it just ruins everything. Both games have their own unique styles and those are what separate the games from each other and make them "good" games.
Nope, though it may sell less than the other games, this game will still sell quite a number, and that alone is reason enough for Capcom to make a 7th one. People just need to hope RE7 is not worse than RE6, thought I guess that's almost impossible considering the hate on RE6. But this is Capcom, so anything's possible.

They can also reboot it and try to go back to its roots, maybe even include Alice as a character. But Capcom already said Survival Horror doesn't sell and they don't want to listen to the fans, so I guess this franchise is done.
To each his own, but this is one of the first supposed AAA games that most users and critics agree on how bad it is. I'm still planning on getting it on the bargain bin after I play the other RE games...
It's not because QTEs are boring, it's the way they were handled by the game. Uncharted, God of War, Heavy Rain all handled QTEs very well and won't be the good games they are now if QTEs were removed from their gameplay.
Really, the same can be said for most other games. They are now trying to attract a bigger audience and as a result suffer changes that make them worse. The people that get hit the most are the original fans that know what changes the franchises have undergone.
Diablo 3 is less hardcore now AND it has an auction house. FFXIII was so linear even a 7 year old can beat it.
Yes definitely. I mean, a lot of fans and of course potential customers were already angry with the direction the franchise was heading. So some hardcore fans already are gonna pass on this one, then there won't be as much newcomers if they realize the latest installment is averaging a much lower average score than its predecessors.

I'm loving Borderlands 2, but I'd rather see them make a new IP. Still, either way is fine. I'll be looking forward to Borderlands 3.
Whatever, it wasn't a great Collection to begin with. The 3 titles I want are KH 1&2 and BBS.
Why is this an issue? All Sony said was that the PS3 and Vita can do what the Wii U does. They weren't lying.
It's just that the Wii U does everything BETTER because it IS what the Wii U is all about. The PS3-Vita combo is just an added optional functionality that's not even polished. The Wii U is all about using a controller with its own screen.

GTA IV didn't suck, but it was hugely overrated. Everyone can expect GTA V to average 95%+ but this time I hope it actually deserves it.

Hard to compare the two since one is an MMORPG, but if you need to know why, it's probably because TL2 is $20. It's almost impossible to find a game this huge that's $20 right off the bat. Most games aren't even worth $60.
And TL2 basically improves everything in TL1, and it sticks with the old winning formula of the classic loot action rpg genre.
