Yup, willing to spend $400 tops. $450+ I would, depending on how awesome the console is - launch games, new features, etc. Just got a new PS3, so I wanna tell myself don't get a PS4 too early and spend another crapload.

Depends on what it offers - specs, launch games, other services. Just from the specs, I'm willing to put down a max of $400. Give me good (and I mean Uncharted good) launch games and I will happily throw in up to $500.
It IS Nintendo's next-gen console PERIOD. Why does this issue have to be brought up again? EA is just describing console generation. For them, it hasn't started yet because all games right now are still maxed out at the PS3/360 level. They are correct, next-gen hasn't really started until we see games that the PS3/360 cannot run.

Given GameSpot's recent track record of giving games lower scores than the average, this is a pleasant surprise. I noticed they started doing it after giving RE6 a 4.5. It's like they grew some balls and actually gave the games the scores they really think they deserve, regardless of them being AAA franchises or not
While I do think Xbox doesn't have as many characters, you have to admit Master Chief is bigger than ANY Sony character because of Halo. He's not as big as Mario, but Sony doesn't have a character as big as him let alone Mario. The good part though, is that Sony has Kratos, Drake, Sackboy, Ratchet, etc that really make up a well rounded roster.
Who cares if they don't look much different to Crysis 3. At least most of those games PLAY BETTER. Crysis will forever be a graphics powerhouse with mediocre gameplay
