Looks like both GoW games "bombed", or rather got lower scores than expected since 80% is not a bad score at all.
Funnily enough, both are prequels, the 4th console games in their respective franchises, and are also not numbered. Oh yeah, their scores are also very similar, and the first 3 games of their series have also similar scores.

It didn't work for RE6 because RE6 actually changed up the formula for the WORSE, not better. What HarryMason said is that GoW didn't change a lot of things, which is a good thing because you don't need to fix something that's not broken, and RE6 did that.

Yes, but because Sony still looked after the PS2, it affected the PS3. It had a really slow start. Not saying that it was all due to that, but it was part of it aside from that monster $599 launch price.
At least now, I can say Sony isn't making the same mistake. They are still focused on the PS3, but based on the reveal and the hype train that is E3, we can expect the PS4 to not suffer the same launch fate as the PS3.

Let's say they drop the price of the Vita before or during E3 to $200. PS4 starts at $400, then gets dropped to $350 about a year later. That one year allows them to fully realize the potential of the Vita to smoothly remote play most if not ALL PS4 games. A $500 bundle for the 2 would be sweet.

$100 more for a bigger hard drive will not do it. They will add a game or PS+ 1 year membership, or both, or more stuff.

Who cares if you're not a social butterfly? If it's not about paying extra money, there is absolutely no reason to complain or be annoyed at these OPTIONAL features
