"It’s tough to say whether or not they’re opting for a “higher” route or if they don’t feel comfortable in their product lineup."
Spot on. I believe MS is taking the "high road" because they know they can't "fight back" realizing that Sony really has the upper hand and that they could just cause more damage to the Xbox brand if they exchange blows, so instead they just play along.
That's a lot of "I think". Very reassuring indeed!
1000 degrees incoming
"notorious for turning out high quality games with a longer than average amount of time in development"
That line belongs to Square (minus the high quality part lately)
Bethesda to me is notorious for turning out high quality games with millions of bugs
Titanfall isn't a launch title either. My guess is that InFamous cannot be preordered yet? I think it's impossible for it not to be on that list
This will be the next Game Boy Micro
Now we'll see if price was a huge factor in the poor sales. The same goes for the Vita. As for the 2DS... /facepalm
Remember the days where we play to unlock these types of content instead of paying more or buying the game earlier?
Well it makes sense to me. MS is almost rushing everything about the Xbox One after all those 180's. Why not top it all off with a premature release date? Then again, it's not like a week can make a difference. This can actually help MS by a bit if true
Where the f*** is Uncharted?
Wouldn't 1 year of PS+ on Vita mean they also get it on the PS3? That's a filthy deal
VGAs. Just like U2 and U3
It's a good lure to skeptical people. Get the free games, once the subscription runs out, they're almost forced to subscribe again to play those free games because IMO 1 month is not enough to play all the free content you get
He only confirmed BF4 is launching on next gen consoles after October 31st, not that next gen consoles launch after October 31.
It's still possible the PS4 launches before November, but this would mean BF4 will not be a launch title anymore.
Or they're just saying that to let Sony surprise everyone in 45 minutes. Who knows
Well it's not like Europe was won by Microsoft this gen. They only made things worse over there.
I'm not sure the mandatory Kinect was really a big deal to most.
It was just a reason being used by the same people who will not be getting an Xbox One no matter what anyway. So in a way, non-buyers of the Xbox One are actually doing those who are getting one a favor.
@below:
You have a point, but I have read some people who are bothered by Kinect, but not enough to make them not get it. So I guess those people are the ones benefiting from this
Whoever said it's the end of the PS3? If the PS2 could last 10 years, then so can the PS3
For some reason, I thought this said 12GB RAM PS4 lol
I know right? I mean you also have to pay for your internet, electricity, a keyboard, a mouse, a controller, a TV, etc. Yeah it's not free at all!
In terms of reliability I say XBL Gold, but that could easily change next gen because more people will be subscribing to PS+ and it's expected Sony will be investing more on their online services which was already good considering it was free for a long time
