This isn't about coming first or last. It's about the Xbox division costing the company money. While the 360 profited, it hasn't recovered the loss caused by the original Xbox. And if shareholders still want the division gone, I'm guessing the Xbox one isn't helping either. Personally I think it's too early to tell. Give the console another year or 2.

They are waiting for Sony's or Microsoft's check to clear. If Sony's clears first it will be exclusive until Fall 2015. If MS goes first, it will be exclusive only for a short while. Until then, no formal announcement can be made.

Lol @ thinking if this was MS people would bash them. How is this even anti consumer? If MS did this it would be a great idea as well. People here approve of them planning on allowing games to be installed on an external hard drive because it's a great feature to have.
It will save time for people who want to buy and download it digitally. Otherwise it's a waste of hard drive space, which you can just delete anyway. I guess it's a good way of luring people to buy the game.

The alpha was mainly for trying out the co-op/pvp. You can't really question the story when they didn't include any in the first place.
I remember reading something about Bloodborne releasing Spring 2015 so March 31 sounds reasonable, though I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually April or May
No new IPs but it's far from dead. Like the title says, they're repositioning it. I'd almost go as far as saying it's almost like what MS is doing with the Xbox One.
Both the Vita and X1 had different visions when they were announced. MS scrapped Kinect and stopped pursuing TV features, and Sony stopped going after new IPs and is now trying to make the Vita the perfect companion to the PS4. And I think both are doing it well.
Not just timed. But 3rd party exclusives. You can't really expect 1st party exclusives to disappear as they're part of the industry, the devs work for Sony/MS. But 3rd party exclusives are unacceptable
I can definitely see it releasing during their press conference. Since it's in the evening, it'll be available on Tuesday. They might give everyone in the audience a free copy as well.
Am I missing something here? MGS 4 seems to have the biggest map, granted it wasn't open world and each of those were separate missions. I guess MGSV is one big area where you're free to roam
Did they change their old numbers or something? I seem to recall the XOne and PS4 were neck and neck in April, going back now the PS4 has been outselling it more than 2-1 since April
Funny, the way things are shaping up, MS seems to be the one who will have the best. But Sony hasn't even talked about anything, unlike last year when they kept hyping up E3. I hope they have a lot of tricks in the bag
This is the problem with the PS4. Sony has Morpheus and Vita to talk about, not to mention sales figures and how the PS4 is selling so much and the PS3 is still getting good games. Even if their conference is 2 hours, not all of it is dedicated to the PS4. It's always been like this for Sony.
MS on the other hand can exhaust all their time showing all the games cause that's all they can talk about with the occasional "power of the cloud" jibber jabber

If ND is able to achieve 1080/60 with Uncharted 4, there's almost no excuse to not be able to do this with every game (except maybe if it's open world like inFamous/Watch Dogs). Granted ND is one of the best devs out there, I don't see them sacrificing graphical fidelity just so they can push 1080/60. The Uncharted series has always been IMO the best looking series on the PS3 and if it can hit 1080/60 on the PS4 then I expect most future games to be able to do so too. Would also b...
