i own both and prefer the xb1 , i like switching from tv to games to moves to apps and being able to snap things , instant resume is a great feature never having to think about saving , or quiting out . after playing games on the xb1 the ps4 's user experience feels like a dinosaur .
@n4rc "Amazon can be a good indicator.. "
how many units difference is there from number 3 on the list to number 7 on the list .
sometimes conclusions can be wrong , example if the ps4 is at 2 and the xb1 has 4 sku's inside the top 50 , who sold more ? and was the difference significant ? answer we have no idea .
i don't think your completely wrong we just have to be careful , numbers lie all the time . i would say the same ...
i'd buy the xb1 just for sunset overdrive best next gen game so far
@Lawboy2 i haven't had that game that makes me say "that's why i bought this new system" on the ps4 , yet , hopefully the order or bloodborne . sunset made me say it for my xb1
i supported the developer enough thank you i bought the game twice (god i'm a sucker)
i wonder why every story that has images that are suppose to show a vast difference in the consoles , the picture are always almost identical . if you like sony exclusive i'm sure we'll see the extra power there someday...maybe .
@DualWielding i'm guessing you won't see sony move the price until after march , and if they aren't staying ahead by february , maybe in march to go with bloodborne .
@lemoncake i agree i don't think we'll see a sony price price until there is a hardware revision maybe next christmas . they are in the drivers seat , so they don't really care what ms sells as long as their sales don't fall off the map . when sony decides to match will be very tellin...
smart by sony , see what the sales are first , maybe there is no need to drop the price
cheaper console with great exclusives and EA access makes the xb1 a great christmas gift
as long as 3 or 4 of the big ones are great i'm happy looking forward to a better 2015
didn't lie right under the wire
@MasterCornholio both these console are fine ,nobody is going out of business , too much money to be made . i spent most of last gen happily playing on my ps3 until the hack and i bought a 360 . they are just pieces of plastic made by giant companies that do not care about people in any way , people need to keep perspective on this kind of stuff. lol
i'll speak for myself , i'm a little underwhelmed with sony's lineup in the 1st year and pleasantly surprised with the quality of ms's offerings . that doesn't mean it might not completely reverse in the 2nd year , its just an opinion .
@OculusRift both these new machines are painfully slow downloading compared to Steam
copying MS would be really smart by Sony , small updates and a opt-in beta program . then if you want to take the risk of the new update you can , but if you just want to play games and can wait for the new features on a stable build , you can as well .
and yet i've been playing more on my console that starts with X and ends with one . you want to play a bunch of junk fill your boots .
problem comes with the fact if these companies are working on games and giving them time , they are not working on anything else . my god if people thought last year was dry can you imagine a year without yearly releases . i say keep making them and i'll buy the good ones but keep making them .
isn't the first game that is better on xb1 and won't be the last , which doesn't mean any sane person should care where they are playing their multiplats most are indistinguishable on either console even with a direct comparison on the same tv in the same house .
if half the game doesn't work i think a 6 is pretty generous. can't believe ms allowed their flagship franchise to go out the door with match making in this state . shame on sony , ubi , ea and ms for selling us products that don't work .
i fell thru the world about an hr ago , the framerate stuff is a little over blown if you ask me , there are a few spots (like the red stain glass on notre dame ) the framerate gets really bad , but most of the game i've seen so far is still playable even in the big crowds . whether the game itself is worth $60 is another matter .
my user experience on the xb1 is so much better , ps4 feels old and clunky by comparison . if your only using the box for games you'll probably never notice the difference , but movies , games , apps , tv , streaming its xbox and sony has along way to go to catch up .
