is mark zuckerberg wanting to be the gabe newell of VR not enough of a reason . the gateway to all vr media for pc and phones with facebook's customer base as a starting point .
sony and ms benefit big if this succeeds
didn't eagle fans try to kill santa claus
i use facebook so i don't have to see my family and friends , i don't want to see them in VR
what is facebook going to morph into in the next few years , enter the matrix
ss probably got a score bump because reviewers were afraid of fanboy backlash
@thorstein commenting on someone being shocked that titanfall has a higher metacritic score than SS . i'm not shocked by this but i'm also not a crazy fanboy , infamous was my favorite of last gen and i enjoyed titanfall more than SS
titanfall is a better game and i absolutely loved the 1st infamous
at 20,000 or below units a week its a long ways to the 8 or 9 million units they want to sell in the UK
@Lukas_Japonicus so the answer to the question does it effect the number and quality of the games sony will produce , and the answer is we have no idea .
could disrupt the entire flow of the studio or could just be sony out sources some stuff to smaller companies , that the people that lost ther jobs will eventually join
ps4 is selling great , to the point where they can't produce enough . if they scheduled exclusives based on their projected sales number , why bother spending money if its not needed to drive hardware sales
might not feel they need them , they're not able to keep up to hardware supply even without them . why spend the money if its not needed
or sony is feeling they have enough momentum and don't need to spend as much money on exclusive games as they were planning
@Hicken its pretty obvious we are seeing a shift happening at sony , its also obvious its bad for the people losing there jobs and disrupting their lives , whether it will be good for the games sony makes isn't something there is a answer , or is it a sign of bigger problems at sony . if the latter is true its not only a problem at sony but will eventually be industry wide.
seems like the industry is shifting from big studios to smaller independent studio that specialize of parts of games and work on a contract basis . with games getting more complex this generation big studios would collapse under their own bloat
i like the guy playing and not moving his head VR might take some getting used too .
the ps3 controller lasted forever , and the xb1 is super efficient . maybe its just me , but the ps4 controller runs out of juice super fast during SS , maybe its because its using all the gimmicks ( speaker, touchpad , sixaxis , and the light is always on as usual ) everytime i've played the game i have to stop for recharging .
pretty sad that they had to design a feature into the game for the ps4 poor battery life . how about they let us turn off the light and touchpad so we can have a battery life closer to the ps3
reviewers aren't trying to be objective today thats a old fashioned way of doing it , they want to have a relationship with the reader , so you know who they are and what they like , then you can decide if you agree with their opinion or not .
i happen to agree that SS is a gorgeous yet not technically perfect game (some framefrate issues) , but isn't doing anything that is close to innovative , its side mission are vanilla as hell , its characters are fine but i don't ev...
mark zuckerberg should write each kickstarter contributor a check for 100X what they put in
