other than multiplatform games like batman , destiny , watchdogs , there isn't much with a date i'm interested in on either console other than transistor on ps4 and super time force on xb1 . hopefully both companies get some more game announcements at E3 .
@hicken i'm not sure if you have post traumatic syndrome from too much time fighting a console war . or with the name calling you sniffed some tar from the gutter you slept in last night . as i said above "not diminishing what the ps4 is doing in the US and UK " .
now the xb1 isn't for sale in : Belgium, Denmark, Finland,,luxembourg, Netherlands,Norway, Poland, Sweden,Portugal, Russia, panama and Peru , Slovakia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Ara...
@Hicken keep believing fairytale numbers that aren't meaningful , use real comparisons that actually have meaning . using sold thru numbers vs the shipped numbers in markets where both are for sale is a good point but in the rest of the world its completely meaningless since one company has sold thru units and the other doesn't even have units shipped .
market for market probably less than a million lead , which is still really big
@GribbleGrunger not diminishing what the ps4 is doing in the US and UK , but with 40+ more world markets they should be way ahead in the global numbers
kill strain is the antidote to the H1Z1 virus
hope we get a zelda , uncharted and halo trailers back to back to back
i don't think saying SS has a higher resale rate is completely crazy and has nothing to do with the quality of either game , just the re-playability of titanfall VS SS . people are more likely to pick up the new game with the new system than a used copy . titanfall coming out on 360 and not looking that great framerate and texture wise , people may have waited to see then taken the leap to XB1 . just a guess .
wonder when someone will leak the actual NPD numbers because saying one or the other is leading without telling by how much is really quite meaningless
just a guess , ss resales eating new sales while titanfall numbers are still strong . seems like its the same in the UK .
@Hocken i don't know about you but when i buy a new system i want new games to play on it , looking at the SS number compared to the TF numbers and not saying there is a possible connection doesn't seem logical . just a theory .
maybe the paper chase DLC isn't holding off SS resales as much as they hoped
60% better than the 360 at the same point , is remarkable and what the ps4 is doing is insane even with a 40+ country advantage
hope the story and side missions are better , because Sucker Punch nailed the gameplay feel and graphics
truth is we have no idea why devs were not able to get parity on games across platform , money , manhours , tricks of the hardware , dev tools or hardware . i think its fairly clear which console was more consumer ready for launch so maybe thats a hint .
both examples could be dev issues , truth is we have no idea
its hilarious that when a ps4 game can't do better than 720p the media (catering to the fanboys has far as i can tell) characterizes the game as in development hell , and when the xb1 does it its bottleneck crap hardware . i really think people lost perspective because last generation lasted too long .
sold in sold through doesn't really matter since they are both sold by the manufacture to the retailer . the numbers that matter are 5 million in 13 markets and 7 million in 54 markets , both are great numbers for sony and ms .
which matters more to the retailers than it does to ms . a sold xb1 is a sold xb1 as long as the retailers can find a way to move them and buys more .
March was packed with great games how in the heck did " March 2014 launches sold 42 percent less han March 2013 launches" apparently nobody is interested in great last gen titles like DS2 and stick of truth and the 12 million next gen base isn't big enough for games like SS and titanfall
mix between zelda and dark souls..... DRoooolllllll!!!
if i have a choice i'll always play my indies on steam .
