These pictures are deceiving. That unboxing video from IGN reveal it to be one cheap looking console. But it will do what it was intended to do, play games and make a nice profit for SONY.

In sales maybe never, but as far as quality and being critical acclaimed goes, Forza has surpassed Gran Turismo this generation. The last AAA (I'm talking rating not budget) Gran Turismo was in the PS2 era.
I know metacritic doesn't count when it comes to Forza Vs GT (Gears VS Uncharted is another story) but since we don't have another measure of quality it will have to do. Last I checked, 92 > 84

Actually, main series Halo games sell 9 - 12 million on 360. No PS3 exclusive has ever seen those kinda numbers. Heck only one game on PS3 has sold over 10 million.

I keep saying, release the game on 360 and PC first, then port it over to the PS3 the following year, just like with Oblivion. Everybody's happy.

I'd say the fan feedback says it all, Halo is the better series. Critically and otherwise.
It wasn't meant to be like Halo but I'm pretty sure they wanted it to sell like Halo. Or at least thats what Insomniac is implying here.
