SONY probably wanted to own rights to the game if it published first on PSN. All Microsoft seemed to have asked for is timed exclusivity and silence about it for a couple of weeks and they get to keep rights to their IP.
I didn't care much for the First Person genre before this gen started. I finally caved after all the hoopla and hype that surrounded Halo 3. Heck even my then-girlfriend-now-wife knew what Halo 3 was and she isn't into gaming at all! Suffice it to say I Believed! From the music and art style to the gameplay and story, I was hooked!
Halo 4 has captured my imagination and I am waiting with great expectation for this next chapter in what is arguably the greatest science fiction ...

I must be the only person who still loves BioWare. They make fantastic games. Mass Effect 2 is a joint first in my list of favourite games of ALL TIME. Sharing that honour with it is RDR.

That is why I love Halo! Me and my bro can take our Halo head shooting skills online on the same console. Doesn't get a whole lot better than that.
What I do miss is the choice to split the screen horizontally or vertically. Personally I prefer vertical split but most games only offer across the middle instead of down the middle.

Woah woah woah hold the bus there frosty! Xbox didn't lose 6 billion, forbes estimated it at 4 (3.7 actually) billion in 2005 before the 360 launched.
I think you may be confusing it with the recent 6 billion SONY lost last fiscal year.
PS3 has in fact lost more than the original xbox with a whopping $5 (4.7 actually) billion lost. Granted it is currently being recouped but it is a very slow process and they might not make it before they release the PS4.

It's not a TV though, it's a monitor. You cannot watch tv on this and so putting alongside regular tv's will confuse people and you'll have alot of airy customers.
