Your correct I did not buy it because it wasn’t vibing with me and I respected what they wanted and believed in. What really bothered me was that they were virtue signaling instead of bragging about the development chops I rather hear more about the dev kit they have somewhere instead of their proud prominent display of unisex bathrooms. I like my dev teams quiet and professional while letting their work speak for itself and any internal way they treat their staff will come back to us anyway,...
Luckily I let the artist display their viewpoints and If I don’t like it then I won’t support it. I had many certain entertainment IP pivot away from what made me love them. What do I do? I just move on, watch or play the old stuff while the new stuff is for the new audience they are aiming at.
Wow signs of maturity from Cliffy B. So props to that and may he be an example of the “go woke, get broke” mantra. Artistic vision should not be compromised for a political agenda or pandering.
Great article! I have never heard of this game before! I feel that this would make a great YouTube video to cover. The article covered it well but man it sounds like an interesting tale to expand on with interviews.
Man... playing all night and missing sleep to game, that made me nostalgic and reminds me of CoD MW1 with my best friends. As for me now, not so much due to work and all this adulting requires me to rest well every night. Either way even if wanted to I can't stay up gaming all night these bones and energy ain't what they used to be. But I have used my extra bit of PTO to lock myself in my house while everyone else thinks I am at work, outside of my coworkers while I binge game in the ...
Here is hoping it actually shows up outside of Japan. I have been wanting to play with tons of Gundam suits which this game has in spades.
I totally agree with you, my disappointment in this game and it’s changes is hard for me to express. I can’t believe they couldn’t just do a regular strong expanded follow up from the PSP games.
Clearly! This is not official and is a bootleg company that made this drawing. Huge /S in case you didn’t catch that. While you are free to have opinions now matter how mindless they are, it’s art and it’s officially licensed you are nobody to decide how these characters look and are designed as. Just don’t play the franchise since it offends you.
Man any year with a Persona release or something will always be a good year! Never forget that agonizing pain of waiting from Persona 4 to 5. That was quite the wait to say the least...
Great article! I was not aware of this game until now. This for sure is a nice end cap find for the end of this year.
I like your appreciation for euro RPG games. They really do deserve the attention and hype.
I welcome both, I will take anything Persona related!
Looking forward to seeing this weekly it’s extremely helpful.
My fellow gamers! Allow me to present to you... gaming urinalism! How can you compare a revealed console to one currently mostly under wraps?? These urinalist just love these type of pieces instead of helping the hype in a more heathy way.
Finally a good article that appreciates this game! The franchise as a whole is pretty amazing.
Sounds like an interesting collectors item to me.
The Game Awards is only good for the game trailers which means their picks don't mean shit. I am very salty at how these games listed don't even get some kind of acknowledgement. The games nominated have repeat nominations plus there is a big section dedicated for e sports and influencers. That award show is a giant joke where these people go to sniff each other's asses instead of properly awarding and appreciating video games.
Damn Activision really pushing the limits here, the ridiculous thing is that this game is still selling well. I am glad to have not bought an Activision game bar Sekiro. I am calling it! That even despite the outrage next years COD will still sell tons and find new ways to keep bleeding out that masochistic fan base dry, the cycle will continue.
Nice interview can’t wait for part 2!
Unexpected but welcome surprise, I can remember those Space 5 commercials from back in the day.
