You jest but it’s in the parameters of reality.
/close thread, also this entire bandwagon to collect games for “investment” or to “resell” just made the scene much more about the money over the art and appreciation of hard copies. People think “limited run?! How can I cash in?!” Over “damn this game was pretty epic, this will be on my shelf” people buy limited copies of games for resale over appreciation or for fandom of said game franchise. Buy legitimate pieces of gold or brush up on bit coin or the stock market if you want better return...
No games by Falcom or Atlus? You uncultured swine!
Wow your whole comment is nicely played! Haha!
Funny thing I took the clickbait to see what “bet” they were talking about. Hint: nothing to do with freeing himself from Tencent. It’s the Apple and Google lawsuit which will take a while to resolve and he has the money to last the court battles.
They truly have earned the growth and success! This developer truly loves their fans and their games are always amazing. For those that are unfamiliar with them give them a chance! You won’t regret it!
Of course they don’t make enough. That’s why they lay people off and as to why the industry can be a revolving door. It’s a damn shame to those that want to blindly defend the price hike. These companies are doing what the movie industry drools to have over their staff. The voice actors guild got that pre-emptive strike in. It’s a damn shame that the developers get put down on having their own proper unions from being built.
Man straight up Trails in the Sky should be on this list! That game rarely goes on sale. By “rarely” I mean only during these events. Aside from major seasonal events you pay full price. It’s noteworthy for RPG fans eye balling the franchise.
Oh boy... quite the insane stretch for clout. I see potential and I hope their next moves can prove that they can meet the acclaim and title they are shouting for.
HAHAHA!!! Man!! That sense of logic is hilarious! Maybe completely change the gameplay and mechanics for the better?? It’s too repetitive! Either way I can’t rag on them too much for trying to better the game. It’s just a whole lot of overhaul is needed to have a smash GaaS hit. Maybe FF14 Realm Reborn level, which they have exp for. But that game is just needs some intense care and dev time. Lastly I am sure that license fee must be hard to cover considering overall game budget for release. ...
My most harrowing game purchase was for Persona 4 Golden, the long wait and anticipation to also get the limited solid gold collectors edition.
I doubt they will give up on it. If anything this is sign that they are pushing forward with it. What is important is if it will be backward compatible with the OG psvr library, which I expect it to be.
You, I like the way you think. People forget about their options and it’s nasty when they get toxic about people who want to be savvy customers with their purchases.
It can be if your a patient gamer and also I hope your aware gaming deals come and go, both physical and digital. Either way I am nobody to tell you how to spend your money, just know that you give off the impression of a person that places themselves on a high pedestal.
What got me was your blanket statement, so I responded in a blanket matter. I appreciate those people that “cry” over the price increase. Why would you spend time suppressing them? I can safely bet that you must’ve made at least a single purchase on a game that went on sale physical or digital.
Because they clearly are so POOR! And they don’t include micro transactions, season, or battle passes in full priced games and make billions from said things. You should keep that mentality on being a fool with money, these corps love easy quiet fools like you not fighting back with your wallet wide open for that next piece of overpriced skin.
Wow FIFA is mentioned but not Trails of Cold Steel 4? Talk about lacking credibility.
When is he going to say how to remove 2 strokes of my golf swing?
You must be a tad bit new to collecting gaming stuff. As a PT owner I have a bit of Konami and Kojima history in my HDD. And with Konami making it totally inaccessible. It is an equivalent to a bad attempt of erasing history. It’s like having a rare copy to something.
What a way to counter, with a “license fee” for headphone usage... Oh they really making BIG steps towards dominance as a standard /SMH!
