Oh cmon! Please let me dream that it has a chance to be epic and properly done! By the way I do agree with you but have, delusional? Positivity!
Asking the real questions here...
Gotta meet those quotas! Even if it comes as an afterthought!
It will need more constant content updates until we have a large pool of games that make it feel extremely varied. Also when eliminated make use of those pegs for bonus points or some little mini game after elimination. This game needs to move really fast before another game does all this better and faster.
Man that same consistent thumbnail haha!... But on to the topic this is great for video game history preservation. And my goodness I seriously wonder how many red alert alarm bells are blaring at Nintendo HQ. I can't even begin to imagine their changes moving forward the IT Dept and other 3rd parties with access even in a limited manner are going to be hit HARD! After all this.
Man this is sad that not even the roadmap can be shown to the public. Especially those that paid hundred PLUS dollars in digital items plus the game. I hope that those that backed this in good faith eventually get whats theirs and laugh at the others. As a person that sat back and waited but with high interest at this dream, I am happy I didn't pull the trigger and I say this as a person that is heavily interested in this vision. I will opt for the basic package whenever this releases.
Atlus, Atlus.... man the catalog of games they have! Some of the most expensive and rare titles in retro. If they are re-releasing or even remastering certain titles. It would be a true blessing!
Inverse is true trash they had SO MUCH TIME TO EXPRESS THAT! I am waiting for other urinalists to put down other games from other platforms. What’s next? The PC version of Death Stranding?? Or hold on what about an NES game while they at it. I swear urinalists are the worst!
Damn ain’t that crappy? Splash Damage have been a nice dev team with a lot of goodwill. One Tencent comes in, they will be forced to do stuff I doubt they would’ve done prior to Tencent buying the parent company. I hope a large portion of talent branches out to make a new dev team. Everything Tencent touches or creates ends up as watered down, money hungry shite.
Clearly this is the very first time he has heard of these problems! That’s why he is doing his first wide spread announcement. /s
Depending on the game it can count as a single or double controller.
I would jokingly argue and say that they are a couple because in marriage they put their names together. : )
Question A: 1/2/3 for #1 those top 10 list are usually separate, #2 rumors are good and all but we should only accept rumors from proven industry people, and #3 opinions on what’s “hot” gets annoying especially after a game or item releases.
Question B: well 1 and 2 are similar and go hand in hand as does 3 and 4 opinion pieces are not too bad but we can use LESS of them for sure and also they come off as shilling most of the time as opposed to a more thoroughly dissected ...
Here is hoping they are truly doing their best because they chose an unproven dev team. That dev team is called Soleil LTD. who made a Naruto game, Travis strikes back, and Devils third... not the best track record, here is hoping that this game will be a magnum opus for them and a shift in competence. Regardless I am going in with low expectations in hopes of a nice surprise with said low expectations.
This is pretty damn awesome and who knows what else is hidden? We can probably expect youtuber Shesez to do an episode on this. With that said great article! This is what I come to N4G for.
Excellent article and I have to add that there is some restraint from high tier players to not abuse the infinite combos and exploits.
Toby Fox is shaping up to be a legend among game devs and composers.
Oh man I can agree with you while the games they Have done after purchase aren’t inherently bad, they seem pretty restrained with certain things forced. I would like to believe that the minds would like to express their art but EA comes in and wants to force some input.
Damn this genuinely made me chuckle, well played.
I must say “deserved” is understated, this dev team uses an epic in-house orchestra. This dev team loves their fans and I feel they need more love reciprocated.
