For me this series as well as the ME series was the best part of last gen gaming, I can't remember a more fulfilling experience. My hype meter for this game is through the roof, I'm curious to see if it does the same for me this gen, I've been a little underwhelmed thus far with the games that have released so I'm really hopefull that UC4 will be the first game that blows me away this gen.

Not every game needs to be open world, sometimes they can tend to be too time consuming and I just don't have the hours to dedicate to a game. Games like UC4 that offer a story driven, action adventure shooter experience sound more appealing to me sometimes. Can't wait for this! We're about a month away ppl.

We haven't had a UC game since 2011, it'll be fine. Familiarity in some aspects is fine by the way, the previous games did score very well. It's funny how people like to mention familiarity as an issue when we live in the era of sequels, copy and paste sequels at that.
I disagree, I think the fighting looks smoother and more diverse, the levels are "wide linear", they've put an emphasis on exploring in this game as well. The rope mechanics as a nice gameplay element, and the story seems to be darker and a bit more divisive this time around. There seems to be a lot of things that'll set this installment apart from the previous ones, not to mention the focus on stealth this time, while I think it'll share similarities to past entries obv...

Man o man, what's going to happen at the end of this game? Neil is a proud advocator of not allowing outside influence to determine what story he wants to tell, so he's not going to be afraid to kill someone off that'll create an uproar. But he's also not stupid imo, he's not going to do something that's going make a lot of people critical over the final installment in a classic series. Well ND themselves have stated they're done with UC, but considering it's a PS IP Sony could decide to pass it off to another studio for UC5. I hope not honestly, just let the game die at the end of 4, I'm thinking they'll do something as well that makes it hard to make another installment period.
I think killing off Drake will be too obvious so they'll go a different route, however I think the ultimate price of his selfishness would be to kill someone close to him, imo that means Elena or Sully. Curious to see what ND decides to do with the story.
Possibly, it'll get a few harsh reviews for sure but I feel like the majority of them will be positive.

I think so, everything I've seen and heard so far basically confirms that this game will be epic.
I'm glad they're moving on from UC, it's arguably my favorite series ever but I don't want to see it milked to a point where the quality of the game is decreasing. Let it go out on top as a memorable series and one where each installment offers a grand experience. Hopefully they either move on to TLOU2 or a new IP, I have my fingers crossed for something space themed lol.

I like that she actually took her time driving somewhat, instead of flying through it like so many other previews I've seen. No one really took the time to explore the entire map, and then engaged in hand to hand combat as well once they got to the tower.
