I'm super pumped, just don't expect this game anytime soon
The problem I have with alot of open world games are that they just feel empty, this game does a good job at making the world feel alive. Enjoying it so far but not a GOTY candidate. The game does scream hipster though, idk if they thought ppl would find this cool but its actually quite annoying lol. The selfie shit is ridiculous, don't we get enough of that in the real world.
Both are superb games, UC was clearly influenced by the original TR games, and today's TR games are clearly influenced by UC. They both rip from one another and we gamers benefit greatly from it. Sad to see UC go though, top 3 franchise for me.
Very good game and has my vote for GOTY for now, Doom is a close second though. Still very excited for FF15 and TLG too.
BS. People need to start viewing video games as another medium of entertainment, that includes you know, entertainment rated for mature audiences. No one says movies go too far, or even music. Yea the "No Russian" level in MW was disturbing but if you're grown, I'm not sure what's so upsetting about it. Its not like you're actually forced to murder anyone or that they're encouraging that sort of action. Its a level in the game that I'm sure was designed to ma...
@Edmix
That's a decent argument but at the same time ppl can use reviews to get a general consensus for how a games been received. If a game has a 50 meta average across 100 reviews than I think the ultimate conclusion could be that it's not a very good game. Ya you could decide to play it anyway if you've been excited for it but games are also $60 a pop and reviews can be a good method to help you decide if its worth it. Imo its not just about not listening to ...
Media blackout on this game for me, I've seen enough and only have 3 months to go. Can't wait!
I really think this games going to be the surprise of the year. I'm expecting a meta of around 85.
Its ok to enjoy a game that most do not, but to call it underrated? Its getting the recognition it deserves, a very broken game that just gets boring after the first hour. I hate this just as much as when ppl call a game overrated just cause they're in the minority of ppl who disliked it.
Man I can't wait for this!
I hate articles like this, Just cause you're not excited about something, u try and tell others not to be?...
Its up there, I just wish they didn't show it prior to the release. It would have been such a memorable moment had it been kept a secret.
Wow, we've had the release window under our nose the whole time!
Day one for sure cause its CDPR lol, but I agree that I don't necessarily think a huge map makes a game better. If its for the sake of exploration than its all pointless unless you have plenty of content for the gamer.
I don't understand how someone can manage 3 consoles if they plan on playing most games that hit the market. I struggle keeping up with games and adding PS/X1 exclusives to the to do list makes it hard sometimes. I couldn't imagine owning a WiiU as well. Maybe it'd be ok throughout the summer but once fall arrives you're going to have to make some tough decisions lol
At first I didn't see the big deal, but now I'm thinking with the switches portability, it would be nice to be able to play ME or RDR2 on the go. Rare 3rd party support doesn't hinder my decision at all, but I can see how others might not want it if they're not fans of Nintendos first party library.
Ya I meant in terms of content, I've seen huge open world maps but no game has managed to squeeze in as much content as W3. It almost became ridiculous after a while, I'm a completionist with most games but I had to throw the towel in on that one lol.
How this game could possibly be even bigger than the witcher 3 is beyond me
Games beautiful, I've always thought the world's they create in FF are some of the best. Just very creative and colorful.
Why not both? My heart aches for some JRPG love, its been a while since I've had a satisfying experience.
