I agree that no PS4 exclusive has been on par with TLOU but that doesn't mean it lacks great games. UC4 is the best game I've played this gen so far and is certainly a classic imo, not quite as good as TLOU but how many games will reach that status. Bloodborne and R&C were also exceptional games. 100% agree, RPGs have advanced along side today's technology in gaming, some gamers conservative take on this subject is confusing to me.
So many games with such little time to play them! I seriously could use a 3 month drought right about now.
Jrpgs aren't quite as good as they were say 15 years ago but there's still some gems around. Also I think FFXV and Persona 5 will be two of the best games this gen so far.
Wasn't UC4 announced at PSX? I'd consider that a pretty big announcement.
Don't hold your breath for GoW, Barlog has already said it won't be there...

No more gameplay of Horizon, I don't want to see anymore as I've already been sold on that game, can't wait! Would love to see what SP is working on as well as ND next project. Dont expect a E3 type of conference ppl lol, that was one of the greatest ever. I'd be more than satisfied with two first party announcements.
RoTR isn't quite as good imo, but it's a stellar game. Only thing I preferred in TR is the gameplay.

Since earlier this year is quite a while? U gotta remember that Neil and Bruce took over the reigns of UC4 and definitely would be behind TLOU2, so I think full blown development didn't start until earlier this year after UC4 went gold and the team received a small vacation. I'd say it's still the early stages of development and the most we'll see at PSX is a teaser trailer similar to how UC4 was revealed.
Its possible that it would be at PSX. It'd be a smart move to help build hype for the event every year since ppl would anticipate big announcements. They'll probably announce the UC4 DLC for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them show a teaser trailer for TLOU2 right after. Or one gets announced at the Game Awards and the other at PSX.
Just build on what made the first game great, I'd love more crafting and a story following the fire flies as they try and find them. Build up two separate casts of characters that we're invested in, only to pin them up against each other in the third game. That would be a very emotional experience imo lol.
I'd love more days gone footage as well as a UC4 DLC announcement. Top the show off with TLOU2 and we'll all go crazy. I'm not expecting GoW or spider man to be there though, mainly cause spidey didn't even have a title yet and barlog already said not to expect anymore GoW footage this year.
If its no more than $100 more, I think it will sell exceptionally well. If it has a $600 price tag I think it will struggle, I think the difference between this and the ps4p will be obvious but not to the extent that ppl will be willing to spend $200 more for it.
Another grand adventure, bring it on! Hopefully its at least 4 hours.

For sure, the article is kind of silly. Imo TLOU remastered could be on any platform right now and would be one of the best if not the best game to date, its a classic and will be difficult to surpass. UC4, Bloodborne, and R&C are the 3 games imo that can be viewed as the big time exclusives, and having played all 3 its definitely made me a satisfied consumer of the PS4.
