Soooo lemme get this straight, Sony showed off GoW, Days Gone, Spider-Man, SoTC, and Detroit all which were confirmed for 2018 (not that far off) and it's a hollow conference. Nintendo announces a new Metroid, Pokemon, Kirby, and Yoshi, two of which are likely to come 2+ years from now and it's all good? Interesting...
Super excited for Metroid and Pokemon but those games are at least 3 years off. But Mario looks dope, all else will cease to exist come Oct 27th! Looking forward to Xenoblade 2 as well.
Apparently a reliable insider on reddit said expect to see TLOU2 at the conference, if so i'm going to be so high on the conference with GoW, TLOU2, Spidey, TLL, Detroit, and Days Gone all being present. All i want are two announcements of unknown games, I don't need to be showered with a bunch of surprises. Just give me SP new IP, and maybe this rumored SoTC remake and i'm set.
I shed a tear when I this got announced, omg I cannot wait to play this. Eventhough it'll probably come out in like 4 years lol.
And the legacy of 2017 strengthens even more!
Disappointed. CD3 looked very mediocre compared to what we saw when it was initially revealed, what happened to all the distruction? SoD2 looked very weak, I have zero interest in that game. Looking forward to Sea of a Thieves and Cuphead tho, but obviously I want more...
Uh what? The MS conference was average at best lol. I walked in with a little interest in the 1X and now I have no interest in the 1X. An overpriced machine that has marginal improvements over the Pro. They needed games and they showed them, but they all failed to impress except for Sea of Thieves. All Sony's gotta do is whip out their impressive lineup of games, GoW and Spidey alone will tear the house down.
Different team. Main team has been making Anthem. And it looked pretty damn good imo
I'm sure it'll sell to hardcores that want it, but it won't even catch the original X1 at that price
I think at most we'll get another in engine trailer, but this time an actual cutscene from the game that sheds a little light on the story.
DOA if true.
If you think just a prettier version of the original game would do well today you're an idiot. And I didn't say to completely change the game, I'm saying to not be afraid to make necessary changes in fear that ppl like you would get upset. SE is a business, and it's totally understandable that they're changing some things about the original that wouldn't vibe today.
For the most part, I find that my opinion of a game falls in line with the general consensus.
They have to find a way to reinvent the game and make it amazing by today's standards. Don't be afraid to make necessary changes in fear of pissing off the fans.
Not really lol. As I said, it's going to be a minor upgrade over the Pro.
If those screens are an indication of what we're getting, then I think I'll pass on Scorpio...
E3 this year is just hype all around! I'm genuinely interested in almost something from every conference. With EA it's BFII and Viscerals Star Wars game not to mention Biowares new IP. MS has me interested in Scorpio as well as the games they'll announce. Ubi always has a couple games I'm into each year, this year it's ACO and FC5. Then there's Bethesda which we basically know nothing about what they're working on, maybe another Wolfenstein? Or lord please let it b...
$499 is too much imo, it's somewhat affordable but at that price it'll be out of a lot of ppls minds. $599 is a shot in the foot, they price it there and it's selling under 10 mil consoles. They need to price it at $399 which is selling it at a loss. It's gonna be interesting to see where it's priced come Sunday.
No DS as confirmed by Kojima, and I think Sucker Punch will unveil their new IP. I also think TLOU2 will be there but no gameplay, I think we'll get a look at a specific scene from the game. A lot of ppl forget that the reveal trailer isn't a scene from the game, it's just a reveal trailer they shot over 2 years ago. I think we get our first real look at TLOU2 on Monday. I also think we'll get a few announcements from Japanese studios, maybe MH5, or DMC5. I fully expect From t...
The funny thing about this argument is that it's not like Sony isn't providing great games in the meantime. They by far have had the strongest lineup of games not only this year but this gen. And it's looking like they'll continue that this fall. 2018 looks like another strong year for PS, while 2019 will probably see the releases of TLOU2, DS, and Sucker Punches new IP. Who cares if they're showing us games that are a couple years off, we're more than occupied with ga...
