A huge part that determines whether this game will be fun to me is going to be the traversal mechanics. How fun will it be to swing around NY as Spider-Man and how are they going to combine that traversal with the combat. I don't wanna have to be on the ground all the time in order to fight. Bring on the goodness this E3 Insomniac!
I agree, a great game but not a 10/10 to me. Personally scored it a 8.5 but I'm not scratching my head over someone else's 10. TW3 I'm lower on, personally gave it a 7. I thought the combat sucked and the game was far too dense.
Ya from day one VR was destined to fail imo. I just don't think there's enough interest in the tech right now. Not to mention no ones using the tech properly either. 360 cams should be set up at concerts, sporting events, PSX, and maybe even different landmarks across the globe where you have a mobile cam so ppl can get a glimpse of the world from the comfort of their couch. That was back when ND had two teams, the TLOU team had been working on the game since UC2, so that's 2009, it had been well in development by the time it was shown off. It's been stated by ND themselves that they are now 1 team and not 2 anymore, 1 team in which 90% of them are still working on TLL. Idk, I just highly doubt we're gonna get gameplay. Maybe a trailer of a cutscene since they're doing mocap.
Ni no kuni II makes sense, but I just don't think it's the kind of game that'll get run time at E3. Not saying it's not worthy but i think Sony will spend that time showing off more main stream titles.
The trailer that was shown at PSX was supposed to be shown at this years E3 actually. Not actual gameplaY. U guys are fooling yourselves if you think TLOU is getting a gameplay reveal at E3 when UC4 just released in early 2016 and TLL still has 90% of the team working on it. It ain't happening, maybe a trailer but even that's unlikely imo when the games probably a couple years off. Shawn Layden did say the games in super early development just 5 months ago...

Portable gaming could become essential in the future, but as of right now I don't think ppl mind having to be at home in order to play games like Horizon and P5.
Uh no. PSnow still has one major flaw in that recently released PS4 games still aren't available. I don't believe anything post 2014 is available, so there's still very much a reason to own a ps4. Ppl need to get their facts straight before trying to say PS exclusives can be played on a PC now...

Why? Sony right now is market leader, let MS have the title of strongest console around, its not going to make 60 mil PS4s in the wild suddenly irrelevant. Scorpios going to hit, it'll sell well but likely do little to sway the market due to its focus on 4k, something alot of ppl still haven't committed to. Imo there's no way Sony announces another console till 2019 maybe even 2020.
I'm sure RDR2 would be the better game. But I do love me some Far Cry so I'm looking forward to that. Either way, 2017 is getting even more hectic! Its E3 season and I'm extremely excited but also nervous, I don't like having to pick between great games knowing ones going to hit my backlog never to actually be played....
I'm excited for Scorpio and those MS exclusives but I'm not gonna turn around and try to downplay how big a BB2 announcement would be. I didn't even like the first game but a lot of ppl did and its currently one of the highest rated games of the generation. So saying that you're more excited for SoD2 or Sea of thieves literally means nothing since no one cares.
