Hopefully it is, Sony really needs to reveal at least 3 new games at E3. We all know the games are coming but IMO MS is beating Sony in the games department right now.
To Sony? I don't know. To me it means i'll be buying an X1 and becoming a multi console gamer! Why miss out on anything?!
They really set the bar graphically IMO, some of the best looking games have come out of this studio. I think they should try their hand with something other than an interactive story based game, I know it's their specialty but i'm curious to see what they'd come up with.
I seriously hope this game shows up at E3. Sony has a bunch of franchises from the PS1, PS2 days that they could always revive. Syphon Filter is a classic and is due for a reboot.

I want a new IP too but you have to think about this from a business perspective. UC is arguably Sony's biggest franchise, just like Halo is MS's. It's completely understandable why both companies want their most successful franchises to have an entry on a brand new console before they try their luck with a new IP. I think expecting Agent is kind of far fetched, the most I expect from Rockstar is for them to allow Sony to announce GTA5 on PS4. I'd be completely BLOWN AWAY if they announced the Agent as an exclusive to the PS4.
Dude...if I see a reveal for a LoD reboot i'll lose my mind. One of my favorite games ever, hell Sony just reveal UC4, The Order, and LoD and you've won IMO.
Sony without a doubt needs a big E3 showing this year, last year they got away with the lack of AAA reveals cause of the PS4 reveal and price point, not to mention MS pretty much handed them that E3 after their putrid showing earlier in the day. But I believe MS will bring their big guns out this year with some major heat to fire the first shot at Sony this year. I wouldn't count on SSM showing up to the show. At least not with a new game, previously we knew of 2 teams inside SSM that were working on a project. Stigs team, and Cory Barlogs team, unfortunately Stig's sci-fi game was canned and he left the studio. Cory's game is no where near ready to show according to him, he's been on twitter recently stating that his game is not ready for a reveal yet and there may be some time before we see it. I think its a little too early to say honestly, but being better than Infamous isn't much to brag about as I found Infamous repetitive and dull after the first play through. It's only seeing comparisons cause they're both open world. But I think SD has promise, Infamous was a good game but could definitely have been better. So far IMO we haven't seen the best Sony has to offer, I think the best has yet to come with ND, SSM, MM , RaD, Bend, and Ico not even releasing games yet....
Ok ok, I've been on record displaying my concern for this game and how I think it had promise but has seen it's hype die down ever seen it was properly revealed back at e3 last year. But for some reason i'm becoming more and more intrigued by this game lol. I think graphically it's top notch and it appears to be a stiff challenge gameplay wise which I like. After seeing the gameplay footage of them fighting the dragon I fell in love lol, can't wait to hear more at E3.
I'm not questioning the visuals of this game, cause everyone that has a comment about The Order always seem to talk about how amazing it looks. What I want to know is what to expect from the gameplay, I guess we'll find out at E3, but if it's going to be one of the highlights of the show it'll have to be more than just pretty.
MS certainly has their share of great exclusives I guess it just depends on your taste though, I thought PS had the better exclusives for like the last 2 cycles, I kind of laughed when you said the original Xbox had better exclusives...Lol it could be argued that the 360 had better ones (although I think not), but everyone knows the PS2 had ALL the exclusives considering it had a year headstart and also was the much more popular console. Idk I just can't get into animated looking games lol, I thought borderlands was good and just pure fun but it didn't immerse me the way games that look more realistic do. I know i'll catch a ton of crap for this comment, but SD looks great, I just think it'll see limited popularity, sadly games like CoD and BF will continue to see great sales over games like this that dare to be different.
Sony needs to lay off the indie titles, and dont give VR any real time at E3. They need to focus completely on the PS4 and show off AAA games we can expect this year and in 2015. Let's be honest, indies are great but what gamers want to see are AAA titles, Sony has an army of first party studios and they need to reveal what the majority of them are working on, they mine as well reveal any 2nd and 3rd party titles as well.
