the targeting system was just bad, the combat mechanics awful, and the cover mechanics lame.
Even the controller mapping was messed up. A game shouldn't need to keep telling you which button does what 30 hours into playing it. (Thankfully there was an option to turn this off, but then sometimes the controls were extremely unintuitive.)
Other than the gameplay: everything else that was mentioned above. Better story, a main character that isn't a whiny ...
"I just had to kill A LOT of people!!!" O_O
edit: I have to go watch that movie, right now! Thanks a lot.
20gb DVDs!!
360 uses DVD9, which means 9gb DVDs--and that's pushing the upper limit of the format.
disc changes in the middle of the race!
that's exactly what he was saying!
Except his argument fails not in the way you pointed out, but in the basic assumption that PS3 owners WANTED these games on their system.
I can't speak for the PS3 owning population as a whole, so I'll speak for myself: I had absolutely 0 interest in episodes from GTAIV. In fact, I had such little interest in the game, I'd go as far as saying my interest level was negative; that is to say I loathed the expans...
sounds more to me like a 360 journalist saying how his console sucks...
His arguments:
-Microsoft has no PSP so no cross-game functionalities would mean earlier release (even though there is no reason to believe this delayed the game in any way--either way, how is a company not having a handheld a positive in any way??).
-Actually, the second argument makes no sense at all... But if anything he's saying that Gears 2 is in some ways just as ridicul...
Because it's literally too stupid to be real... But then again, it's a 360 website, no level of idiocy would surprise me, really.
was very good, but annoying when it tries to scare you. I say this because often times the "scare moments" are predictable, but also because of the sounds. Many people complimented the game because of its sounds, but I hated its ambiance track. It continuously plays sounds to keep you on edge, so it always sounds like there's a necromorph behind you when there isn't. This distracts from those times when there actually is a monster behind you, and is just a cheap way to tight...
More of these articles, please! :)
Wow, we've been waiting all this time for Capcom's response to the public outcry, and THIS IS IT?? It couldn't have been worse: "Dante needed to be completely different"... ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??
Capcom are idiots. They've gone way downhill this gen and they don't seem to understand why? They need to do some serious introspection... And some serious restructuring, because some people making decisions have made ALL THE WRONG ONES. Seriously,...
that the trigger mechanism slows down input time. For a hardcore gamer, a fraction of a second is extremely important. I hope Sony releases a core version with wired trigger input.
the amount of people in this thread who are surprised how well the player knows the game... He's doing a speed run, obviously he knows the game inside and out!
That was really impressive by the way. I thought I was good because it takes me about 12 hours to complete a playthrough! I never really tried to make it as fast as possible though... Whatever, I think I'd get stuck as the flame lurker if I attempted to do a speed run anyways!
it looks like an offer to TAKE ADVANTAGE of how well Move is selling to try and sell some of the titles people may be less interested in.
I say this because there isn't a single game out of those 4 I would want. I'm interested in Move because of Socom 4, KZ2, and MAG, and down the line more mature titles like Sorcery.
for this game!
XD XD XD
I killed him in 1 hit ffs! And 1 hit for each of his Aeons too. Ok... I did 99,999 damage every hit, but still. Hastega, Quick hit, 99,999 damage for every one of my party members--Squeenix definitely could have made the final boss more challenging!
Disrespect to gamers?? I KNOW the guys at PD have been working their asses of for many, many MONTHS--many of them sleeping in the office in sleeping bags! If the game needs to be delayed, it's because there is nothing more they could have humanely done, and I will accept the delay as PD wanting to release the best game they can. Hell, I've been waiting for this game for four years, but I'll willing to cut these guys some slack because I know they don't cut themselves any.
I bet you guys would argue to death that video game violence isn't comparable to real life violence, and that violent games don't make you violent.
Yet here you are, criticizing the guy, basically calling him a hypocrite, because he creates some of the most twisted fictional characters and at the same time he can't play as a fictionalized version of real life terrorists.
Maybe you need to figure out which side of the argument you're on.
This question is all wrong for DmC. Problem with this game is we're NOT FANS of Ninja Theory. We're fans of Devil May Cry. Some asshat put DMC in the hands of this dev, and this dev decided they were going to screw over the fanbase of the game.
So, in this case, yeah they better god damn listen because we're not fans of them, we're fans of the game they're destroying.
This is the best news I've read on N4G since... well, ever! For the first time ever a news story coincides with what I would have wanted. I love Fillion as an actor, and I think he'd be perfect for the role.
Now, where's that story about NT being off DmC...
if I was in that situation, forget the paranoia, I'd probably shoot myself in the face after I saw the first necromorph!
