There are lots of things Kinect can be good for without hurting or messing up the hardcore game experience. For example, head rotation detection to see side mirrors is an example. In games like call of duty, characters can face you and follow you as they talk. As long as they do not use it to control the car as a replacement for the wheel or remote is all good.

ouch... so much for the forza killer that everyone was talking about for the past 4 years... You can't blame people for having huge expectations for GT 5. Most of these problems are related to PSN. Game invites, voice chat, etc. Obviously the problem is not with PSN since most of these functionality are not taken care by PSN. For every game developed developers have to write all this functionality from the ground up to be supported by their game. I guess that's the benefit of a unified online service like xbox live. I said it many times, buy multiplayer games for the xbox 360 and keep the PS3 for exclusives and blu-ray.

Proven time after time that multiplatform games look and perform better on the xbox 360. You drank Sony's blue-ray red potion and figure that graphics has nothing to do with GPU and everything to do with blu-ray and the cell.. now Sony have no cell stake and the next playstation (if any) will not have it anymore. Any developer knows that scripts pages mean nothing as far as programming is concern... a physical file can contain million of characters.
Also, genius... what takes resources is the graphics, sound, etc not the scripts since these tend to be simple text and strings.
for example, if you would to paste the script/text in a word editor where it can hold 22,000 pages would only be like 2-3 Megabytes.
