Im a programmer and with the xbox you still talk to the direct x API, check xna's documentation if you dont believe me. However optimisation will help performance greatly, but i still don't see this card reaching 7000 performance.

Only ram is used for multitasking really, my cpu usage according to task manager is 0% - 8% (6 cores) but my ram usage is 31% of 8GB.

Steam say in there EULA that they scan steam related directories. EA say they scan you computer. Kasser, they gain valuable marketing information. They can target you with ads based on how you use your PC ect
SweatyFlorida 6GB is needed for the most memory demanding games on my PC. Above it is overkill and new consoles just need 2GB imo
