PS3 isn't even technically multithreaded for one.
Windows Vista IMHO has a much sexier look than XP. Functionality maybe whatever but the look is cool.

No I'm sure IW got a slice of the pie. Really the only reason why IW has been able to release these maps for free on PC is because nvidia is sponsoring it. So either way there is money changing hands.
