I'm hoping this will be a come back for LucasArts. I haven't found interest in one of their games since Jedi Academy.
This might bring it all back. The president left, and thank fucking jesus for that. I hope they can turn a new leaf and bring forth some games that are more fun and adventurous like X-wing V Tie-fighter and Jedi Knight (Dark Forces). LucasArts seems like they're stuck in a rut.
I'm waiting for an extensive preview of gameplay (...
I put maybe a total of 50 hours into the Wii, and I've had it for two or three years. Obviously, because my taste is absolutely not what Nintendo's taste is(casual, more child/family-oriented games).
So, from the past consoles they made over the past ten or so years(which I think have been pretty weak), I have to agree with the guy.
I hope I'm wrong. I hope they start throwing some real good shit that isn't just more Mario and Zelda and all th...
Correction:
Fuck them both.
What about an ending?
"Oh, we'll just make an ending when the publisher says that we're not pulling in the profits we desire, so we'll cut the series loose."
I don't want a video game to be like an ongoing comic, such as Batman. I desire closure.
Oh yes, the developer's failure to root out bugs in their software (and our sightings of such bugs) are definitely the cause for a lack of innovation.
No wonder independent development is rising. So dependent they, the big names, on multi-million dollar game developments that they are under the pressure of us and their publisher to get shit done. I'd say THAT is what stops innovation. "The release date sticks, or you are fired."
She'll fuck up Tom Clancy, as a video-game brand name, more. I mean, it's almost like it is going down a slippery slope. Rainbow Six is no longer what it once was, neither is Ghost Recon or Splinter Cell.
I like changing things up, but getting rid of game features, I feel, is changing things for the worse.
Bring back the tactical gameplay to R6 and Ghost Recon, bring back more stealth to Splinter Cell, keep a good story/character development, and she ...
It'll be another year. Quit dicking around.
I wish they wouldn't use the same engine as Skyrim for the next one. It lacks quite a few things that make an engine great. It's good, but not great.
Mods save the day, every time.
That really isn't gaming related, but goddamn, your making us proud, kid.
I like realism, but I like video games to escape the bullshit that is realism/reality.
Even with that said, I believe only 1 and 7 are ones I can agree with. The others can suck it because they'd either take too much time to develop or they would kill the feel of the game.
And just the mention of instanced dungeons... oh, the author should very much regret saying that.
Hopefully it'll be a little freer from bugs by then and they'll have the original map made of the mod done.
Modding shines bright as always. Fuck dice.
It'll drop next year, October. And then it might get delayed.
This article, indeed, is stupid and is as useful to journalism as a drum kit would have been to Anne Frank.
"My God, Rambo, don't do it!"
I look forward to seeing the game develop. Maybe they can throw in a certain element that will give the gameplay a somewhat special/refreshing feeling. If not, maybe there will be a cheap thrill in there.
Both were dumbasses. One challenges the other to a physical confrontation and then the other has the balls to actually accept the challenge, then kicks it up a notch.
Maybe Kemp has learned a valuable lesson and his friend will learn a valuable lesson in prison. Too bad he likely won't get the rehab he needs.
Never challenge anyone to physical violence over an argument that doesn't really mean anything. It's immature and stupid.
DICE has always sucked in a big way, but this is rock bottom, in my opinion.
Putting 1942 behind 2142 and even BF3? :|
Let's announce announcements or predict announcements.
I can't be the only one who believes this kind of "news" is stupid as shit.
The second Saints Row was more ridiculous than even GTA San Andreas. The Third went somewhere beyond...
GTA has not become too classy. Sequels in the GTA series don't really need to be measured to one another, because there is little to no continuity.
It can still go back and bring back some silly shit from San Andreas. We can still Beat the Cock.
Cheers. Same story and reasoning with me.
The lack of a single-player, offline mode shut down the interest.
I have two hopes for this:
1) None of that always-online DRM shit.
2) None of that constant driving around that had taken up a good percentage of my time in Far Cry 2.
Looks like a good, fun, and Rambo-ish adventure with guns blazing through some lovely landscapes.
