why would it be bad for microsoft? they make pc software not hardware. its the hardware that is showing a decline and you're right there hasn't been much need for upgrades but this cycle happens all the time. on the other side of thing people are Purchasing/donwloading digitally more than ever before. just because people are not buying pc parts as much does not mean pc's are any less popular or are not being used.
not necessarily, some free to play games avoid P2W by selling only vanity items like skins,hats and other cosmetic items and XPboosters. other games manage to keep a nice balance by actively taking feed back and tweaking stats so that weapons or items sold are "sidegrade" meaning they won't exactly be better but will have different properties like faster rate of fire in exchange for less damage so on and so forth. there are many F2P games that really do offer a great gaming expe...

its just another fps like halo or killzone it brought nothing new.story was flat and the gameplay was linear even compared to previous crysis games. while it was a good looking game on consoles and showed a huge leap in tech on pc it was also good looking but so was crysis warhead which some would argue is a better game in almost every respect.
ive had more fun with the ps2 than i will ever have with the ps3. i don't think any console will surpass the ps2. i haven't had the same kind of memorable moments with my ps3 like i did with my ps2.
i have to say while i don't like the idea of the patent (or patents in general) at least this one makes sense i can understand why nintendo would want to keep dual-screen panorama as a signature feature. lets hope nintendo make the most of it as patents have a tendency to limit a products potential to the creativity of just one company.
what? the iphone is a phone as it clearly says in its name and the vita is a hand-held gaming device. thats like saying more peanuts will be sold this year than the vita which is irrelevant because they are two completely different products.

thats what i thought at first. i hope this is th case because multitasking was the ps3's weakest points. however i don't think it is about multitasking because that has to do with the RAM not the GPU's.

the game isn't even out yet who said there will be inappropriate content in it? GTA has built a reputation over the years in the eyes of people not really in touch with gaming many of which haven't even played the game.
this game strikes genuine emotion just with they way you interact with the environment and the people you play with. people who were unaffected by this can't seem to see the point of the game. i think the people who heard about this game being goty and were expecting some sort of great experience are likely to have been disappointed whereas the people who played the game early on out of curiosity would have had a wonderful journey doing so (no pun intended) or at least thats my theory any...

i will get a console but not when it is released. my point was that if you are going to get a console the optimum time to do so is half way through its life cycle and for the soul purpose of playing exclusives. getting a console at launch is silly
yeah i have grown to realise that too. people who buy consoles at launch are stupid its more expensive at launch, fewer games, and the quality of games at launch is so much lower than the quality of games released mid-end of a consoles life cycle.instead of next gen consoles i will be getting a pc and make life so much easier. will also be selling my laptop no need for that anymore.

as long as the developers hear and recognise their fan's concerns unlike *cough* capcom *cough* then it should be fine. i guess we'll just have to wait and see. one thing is certain though and that is it will be different from previous souls games, i just hope for the better.
i personally want to see an open world adventure like FF game with a good fighting engine and a solid storyline that's different from the usual. square really need to get their act together FF13 was alright and visually pleasing but gameplay wise it was lacking and FF14 was a disaster.

"sex scene enrages fans" what fans? i don't think there are any fans left after capcom has repeatedly ignored and ridiculed the very people they are trying to sell the game to. i mean if you are not targeting this game at the fans why don't you create a new IP? and if they were targeting this game at the fans why did they purposely ignore their feedback despite all the criticism? i think capcom has lost the plot.
yeah i won't be buying a console with in-game ads either. will probably get a pc next-gen and avoid this nonsense all together
many people have laptops and consoles and tablets which collectively (sometimes even individually) are more expensive than a pc that can do everything better and in one device. i don't understand consoles gamers with their laptops, expensive gaming headset and consoles with $60 games that claim pc's are too expensive without realising how much they have already spent and they moan about next gen taking too long when all this can be simply avoided. (sorry for that mini rant)
