good question since nintendo,sony and microsoft held their own conferences this year. it seems to me that all the industry stuff which is what E3 is meant to be about were held in separate conferences(playstation meeting,nintendo direct, MS may21st) while all the games and big reveals that will create a buss/hype were held at E3.E3 has become more for showing off really all the great innovative games,new concepts and indies are being shown off else where at gamescom, pax, GDC etc...
well if they are not mmo's and you can play by yourself why does it need to be always online? i wonder if there is online pass linked to it because at that stage it is basically exactly what MS set out to do only difference is that only the game is always on not the console
i was just going to point that out, i can't believe what i'm seeing. either people in the uk are easily swayed or are wise as to what's going on in the console wars. the xbox influence was huge in the uk
in all honesty this whole drm situation was handled so poorly by MS they screwed up big time and potentially ruined any chance of implementing a beneficial system that does require such features in the future by reversing their policies. it was all caused by the lack of clarity, contradicting reports and not giving the consumer any flexibility as to what he does or doesn't want.
the heckling at the crimson dragon reveal was embarasing. but most cringe worthy has to be the killer instinct gameplay when he says " just let it happen it'll be over soon"
its too hard for microsoft to match the value of PS+ and it would be hard for sony even to keep the great value up on the ps4 when everyone will likely have ps+
a bundle with a vita that is significantly cheaper than buying the two seperate is what i would definitely go for.
people have this misconception that a company like sony or MS can make random decision on a whim. they would have agreed on the price and package months if not years before the conference there is no way they can make such decision in the few hours between the MS conference and theirs

i think he is mad. people need to understand that when some one calls it an XBone it is no to make fun of/or mock the xbox, yes i know the name sounds funny but it is the most logical way to shorten it. just like the playstation4 is shortened to ps4 (P for play S for station and 4 for 4) the xbox one is shortened to XBone (X for x, B for box and one for one). besides a bad nickname is the result of a bad name.
but to use those cloud features you need a constant online connection, which is fine when those features are mostly used to add to the multiplayer(because you need internet to play online anyways) but lets say for example "the cloud makes the xbox one more powerful" as MS claims this implies that the cloud will allow for games to be made on the xbox one that wouldn't be able to run without said "power of the cloud" that would mean those games will need a constant inter...
