i wouldn't call any of those games great. as a DMC fan i am still bitter about the reboot and how ninja theory handled that, enslaved was average at best and HS is a launch title which at the time looked great but when i look back on it that game was also average at best

i disagree many people are being fooled by the exaggerated lighting and contrast on the XBone version overlooking the awful AA,jagged lines and the rendering at a distance.
the second fuck up from digital foundary i don't think i will be trusting anything that comes from them much longer they were the ones who started the rumour that PS4 reserves 5GB of RAM for the OS which has been instantly debunked as complete bullshit and now this.

the PC will always set the benchmark sony are not trying to match PC because after all a console that has the same power as PC will have to BE a PC. consoles are consoles for precisely that reason. PC comparisons is just to measure how far we have come.
@decrypt i'd love to see you try and build a machine for 500USD that will out preform the PS4 as a PC gamer and someone who has tried to do it already there is no way in hell you can build a PC for the same price as the PS4 that will out preform it, not including the man hours you have put into making that machine work and all the hassle that follows all of that assuming you are pirating the OS i mean seriously windows 7 alone costs a quarter of the price. no way, trust me it cannot be do...
X1 version has exaggerated lighting and affects also noticeably more jagged lines. you must be the type of person easily fooled by shiny lens flair and higher contrast to cover up the difference between the two. the difference is subtle but the biggest point here is that there IS a difference at this early stage
steam controller is not at all trying to replace classic controller if anything it is trying to do what classic controllers have failed to achieve which is the accuracy of the mouse. and i'm not convinced it is doing that at the moment from the demo they shown it seems to control like a track pad but i have yet to try it.
agreed the races with all the cars on one track looks soooooo much better than the challenge trial runs for points/clan rep and leader board positions they have been demoing up until now
i was amazed at the people defending 30FPS with baseless argument like "its not even needed" and that "cinema has been using 25fps for years just" (lol wut?) but i am truly bewildered that here we are going into next gen and people are just fine and even defending 720p. these people should just keep their ps3 and 360s imo.
map looks to be of a decent size was concerned that most of the multiplayer footage we have seen so far was of fast paced smaller maps

you can't place the console vertically. well that sucks no place for it on my desk. then again it was designed for the living room.
