yes mantle is a much more efficient way of getting the GPU to work on PC. games utilising mantle give graphics cards with that feature a significant performance boost. you can think of it like optimisation for consoles except its optimised for mantle enabled cards and games that support it in the same way games that use PhysX only work properly on Nvidia cards. if the ps4 has this then by god it will be amazing... i don't think it does though it only has trueaudio and an architecture that...
the console is trying to read from the HDD but can't because of some corrupt files he needs to remove the HDD start the console without it which will launch the console in safe mode turn it off re enter the HDD then boot it up it will go to safe mode automatically then he can recover corrupt files from there and fix it. this problem has already been fixed

from what i've seen from the xbox ui the dashboard is filled with stuff i really don't want to be there. besides i pretty tired of the tile based layout and the whole style of it from my windows phone which i only owned for a few week so i can imagine getting really sick of the XBone ui within a few months
