First of all we already heard this one. Second stocks rise and fall all the time. It happens and third did you know Nintendo's stocks fell the week the 3DS was released. Were they in trouble because of it? Nope. Sony's stocks will rise up after all this is sorted out. And lastly, it's only 3%.

LOL! Good one. Glad to see people still have a sense of humour about this

Right. So because the criminals said they didn't do it, that automatically means they didn't do it. Because criminals never deny anything until they are found guilty. I wish they would find out exactly who did this and string them up by the balls. Really, I do.

For the love of cake just make it stop!!!!!!! And Max_Dissatisfaction, stop trolling and take a breath for the love of God!!!!! Get a life!!!!!! BTW why drag Microsoft into this. They have had their share of half truths and lies. How long did it take them to admit their console was RRODing? They denied it until became to large a number to hide anymore. Sony might not have not handled this as well as they should have but let's not pretend that Microsoft are saints and aren't well known...

God Lord thank you for a glimmer of sense in a sea of ignorance. How do we know how 'easy' it was? We don't. The hacker waited until they were most vulnerable there to make his move. Do we know how many obstacles he went through to get in? Or how long it took? Or how much he got? No. But suddenly everyone is an expert on Sony's security, except Sony.

Exactly. If they gave in then every punk would think all they have to do is threaten you and you will give them what ever they want. I have dealt with bullies before. If you don't stand up to them they will continue to torment you. Sure you get cuts and bruises in the process but better then being a little pussy hiding from conferntations your whole life. BTW Anon, the hackers and their supporters are the biggest cowards of them all. They stay in the shadows throwing spitwads at Sony and ...

The only reason people blame Sony is they are the only ones viable. Whether it's their fault or not you can't get your money or anything from the hackers so of course you blame the ones that will get you results. So unfortunately whether Sony is to blame or not, the reality of it is that they will get ALL the blame. It is they who will have to do all the smoothing over, all the repair, all the trust reganing, all the damage control.

I personally don't blame them ...

Why don't you just mind your business? Business have protocols and rules for situations like this. People think that the first thing that Sony should have done is tell them while Sony's protocol was probably find out what happened and minimise damage before issuing any conformation. I don't understand why everyone thinks they should have shut it down first or start telling people first. Why cause panic and shut down their whole system for something that could have been a glitch or...

You an idiot MARIOFTW. How do you even know that this the same security flaw the hacker talked about? You don't know what the hacker did, how much info was stolen or if it could even give the hacker any advantage. Sony hasn't confirmed if they lost anything important and if it is 10 or a million accounts that were taken. So stop raising the pitchforks and lighting the torches until we find out what happen. You will look very stupid if you shout all this crap and you find out that the ...

Strange that Sony hasn't said anything about credit card info being stolen yet but everyone keeps saying it? People cancelled their credit cards just in case but no one even knows if they were at risk at all. But you can't reason with a mob. SuperLupe. It amazes me how ignorant @$$holes like you get agrees and have so many bubbles. this site is really broken.

Does anyone even know how safe PSN is. Everyone talks as if they knew the level of safety the PSN has. Some of the most secure systems in the world were hacked and lost millions worth of valuable info. Did they handle it badly too or was it just the hacker slammed into their systems with a wrecking ball of an attack and it broke through. I don't claim to know Sony inside and out like everyone on this site seems to do but no one here knows the level of Sony's security of PSN seeing that...

Shhhhhh!!!!! That is logic. The angry mob of idiots will be on you like flies if you say that. Just say Sony Sux and It's Sony's fault and you will be fine.

No, really? You have to wait until the police tell you that? Was it really necessary to approve this?

You guys are talking BS. Their have been about 3 reports of people losing money, It's just everyone blowing everything out of proportion especially since they have not enough info to accuse anyone of anything.@ Joe2911. It wasn't Sony saying those things. Those were rumors. Sony did not know what was going on and had to confirm what happened. Running around making claims about what they didn't know wouldn't have do anything. What would you have done if you knew? Could you have...

Sony hasn't confirmed if anything or what has been stolen, if anything at all.So why is it people keep going on as if all is lost? Do you really think whoever hacked the system could get 50 million in PSN users information in the short time they were in the system? My confidence isn't shattered. I just hate hackers even more because Sony knew something like this would happen if they allowed people to hack their system. That is way they fought so hard to keep it secure by going against...

ComboBreaker I think that is a very good point. I believe that Sony has stopped listening to the naysayers a long time ago. No matter how Sony handled the attack, even if they told everyone that their info might have been compromised, everyone would have torn into them no matter what. I mean who does anyone think they are fooling. If Sony said 'Your info may be at risk and we won't get PSN back up and running until the next weekend' that everyone would have responded differently?...

5394d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

Pardon my ignorance but if they shut the servers down when they discovered the breach wouldn't that automatically stop anyone from getting much information if any at all? I don't think anyone mentioned the time between the discovery of the breach and the shut down so we don't have a clue how much they could have gotten. I mean I doubt they could have taken 50 million PSN users worth of info in a short space of time.@ Nitrowolf2 ever try to calm an angry mob? They don't listen...

Not quite sure how it is Sony that messed up when it was the idiotic hackers that tried to break in and Sony who shut down the PSN before any more damage could be done. So explain to me since you all seem to be experts on Sony's security and their protocols how you it is completely their fault? @ macky301 but it is. @ dkgshiz just the usual trolls and A-hole having fun off of people's misey. They pathetically live for things like this

Yawn. Why does everyone make such a big fuss whenever one jack@$$ says he is giving up on the PS3? Who cares? One less idiot on the network. God knows we have more then enough of them already. It still have several game to play this and next year and WHEN PSN comes back I will still be playing them. Get lost losers.
