I never got past the initial idea that someone makes a career by playing StarCraft.
Gamer = someone who participates in activities involving video games *besides* just playing video games. So for example frequent readers of N4G, or people active in the Meta of a competitive game like Overwatch, or people who make Minecraft videos. This definition has nothing to do with gender, age, genre or even platform, but importantly it disqualifies all the candy crush-type players who just mess around on their phone, the so-called casuals.
Of course they mean the first *earthly* copy. As the scriptures teach us, there is a perfect copy of The Last Guardian in heaven, and ours is merely a reflection of it.
Too bad its competition isn't the Xbox One S but the Scorpio.
